Are you using this for autocross? Need to mod swaybar to keep out front shuffle.
@@milesoroads track days and tail of the dragon fun. But tell me more about this mod.
@EscortSportage I found huge washers and I think cut in half. (Work with me been a few years ago) Ground to fit perfectly. Welded to each outer side or the front sway bar bushings, don't have to burn in heavy. Problem is under turn and power one wheel will power forward about an 1",sliding sway bar pushing the other tire back an inch. Mine had aspire suspension and arp wheel studs tigged to flanges. Had mine to 150+ and with all these mods,,, it was still a death trap. But with the degree of front window after 100 car created decent down force. It also had coilovers making it a bit more solid.
If you youtube "festiva runs down evo" that was my car. Sadly, I lost my videos bit there is a few out there filmed by others. That video was with stock fuel pump. Car was 12.20-50 car but not very safe. But a lot of fun and hurt a lot of feelings.

Ultimately big bearing housing ends is the way to go. You'll have options like aftermarket (Wilwood, Baer, etc.) brakes, the Currie "Explorer" brake, or North Racecars caliper brackets with either SN95 or S197 brakes (depending on the housing ends). You're going to be buying new axles but they're not too expensive and you can upgrade to 31-spline.
This is end goal, is 9 inch ends, full floater axles with a proper stop tech or brembo/wilwood brakes all the way around.
Comments: The 03-04 Cobra brakes are no different than are the earlier Cobras. Also, there will come a point when the brakes overwhelm the grip and you'll need to start thinking about ABS.
Totally agree. People don’t realize the “tires stop the car”
Awesome video, very informative!
Thanks man, I need to do more
Love seeing people solve their own problems in creative ways. Remember kids, if it looks stupid but it works, it's not stupid!
So the spindles didn’t change at all from 96-04? Bc I have 98 GT spindles on my 93 n I had to grind my spindles just a hair to fit 99-04 calipers.i kno the 94/95’s were a little different but only the location of the tie rods.
Not that i know of, the 96-04 spindles are a better choice for aftermarket k members while the 94/95 are better for a stock k member
What set up did you go with?
I’m currently on the Brembo caddy ATS up front and the Taurus in the rear.
Hey Love your build looks like a fun car, I actual have my own 92 mustang coyote swap road race project that I am building and I am curious how are manual brakes in the car on track ? I am looking into brake options and seems to be either going down the path of hydro boost or manual brakes and just wondering what you think of them on a track are they very hard to press ? do you find your self locking up the front tires at all ? would you rather have gone with a hydro boost setup if the price wasn't astronomical ?
I love the MM manual brake conversion, please go manual you won’t regret it. Pedal pressure is no issue at all and you can adjust how the pedal feels by swapping out the master cylinders. I have locked up here and there but that’s because I’m on crappy Toyo RR tires and still learning this caddy brembo ATS brakes. Manual is cheaper, lighter, simpler than hydro I 100% would recommend you go this route.
If you're going to do videos you have to stop snorting your boogers.
Very nice info... I'll like to see more of the car with the front off. I went with Team Z tubular front end and k member. Great vid tho 💯🔥
Sure, I’ll post a video soon.
Just uploaded a new video.
-Rear GT 500 brake rotor "13 inch ish" -S&S repositioning adapter for SN95 caliper & bracket -maybe longer brake hose.... Pick your pads.... Increased leverage on rotor while keeping the more reliable oem smaller piston... Saw system on different video... Any thoughts?
Interesting, the plan is go to a full floater setup with 9inch ends and run a proper race brake setup. Moving away from the slide pin calipers.
Look into Moser 7700 (SN95) or 7705K (S197) housing ends. They are non-C clip and utilize OEM Mustang brakes. Another option is Strange H1138 housing ends. The purpose is to trade the c-clips for positive axle retention, and get larger bearings to carry more cornering load.
I’d love too but i don’t have funds to throw at brakes right now, i still need to do other things to the car. Much more aero stuff
Track use Mustang 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Am I missing something?
Hi mate! I have a question... could you fix this panniers? If so, how? I dont see more videos about it :( I already have bougth this bag holder for my Street Triple R 2018... Is the same configuration of yours. I think I can fix it, but some help would be appreciated :D
Yea I’m pissed no one makes them for the 2022 bike. I loved these panniers on my 17 STR. And hate not having storage on my 23 RS, so I’m going to make this work. A cutting wheel and a mig welder.
Why post a Dyno video but leave out how much it made?

It is a drag car y'all.. I was expecting it to be a little louder but it's a nice setup, I see the cages you under 10s?
its a time attack car, its louder in person trust me. Im running 4 mufflers and at higher rpm its still insanely loud.
Lol that column itching to meet your chest cavity.. No thanx. I will stay in my 5.9 nobody with airbags😂
youre forgetting the steering wheel
this is the closest ill get to finding a tow strap vid for the rc 350, couldnt find shit on the internet for adapters bc the tow area is deep in the bumper. so instead i just hand fastened it to a hole in the grille looks great but no function 😂
How did the gloves feel? Are those the sparco arrow gloves?
The feel great, not sure exactly which model I’d have to check the bag.
Finally someone that doesn't just put it on their bumper. I can't believe the amount of people that do it for looks when actually doing it isn't even that hard.
It’s so dumb, i see Honda guys attaching tow straps to a plastic grill. PS I’ve sold the Lexus years ago.
Are you still running the Taurus rear calipers? I'm thinking of doing it, but I've been told people have experienced failures with them.
Yes I am.
Awesome video, thanks bro!

Usless, unless you like at his ass. What a waste of time.
Hope I can make my fox run like this one day! Awesome video man
Thank you! Id be glad to help you.
Thanks for posting this. I do have a comment/question. IF my understanding is correct, if you have an SN95 bracket and caliper and you upgrade to the Taurus caliper, then wouldn’t it make more sense to just run this with a regular SN95 rotor? (If I understood correctly SN95 caliper bracket + Taurus caliper + stock SN95 roto .. 10-ish inch will work). This is because if the stock SN95 rotor works with this set up, putting on a larger rotor and buying brackets to push out the taurus caliper achieves nothing (other than perhaps aesthetics of a bigger rotor) since the braking surface is limited by the caliper size, which is set by the taurus caliper. Meaning the additional brake surface on the larger cobra rotor (13-ish inch) will never be acted upon by the pushed out taurus caliper (by the very expensive $250 bracket). If I am wrong please forgive me, and thanks again for posting.
The cobra rotor is a double vented rotor compared to the regular single rotor sn95. It’s also larger moving the caliper out increases braking, and the Taurus piston is larger than the regular sn95 piston. I needed this setup to match my ATS brembo front brakes.
far as I know the GT rotor/caliper matches the GT bracket which clear 15" wheels with ease. you can not use the GT bracket with the cobra rotor/caliper you have to use the cobra bracket because the GT bracket will not match to bolt up.
in other words I think this guy had the wrong combo from the start to run this set up, sounds like he had GT set up and went to cobra set up which wont work, you got to have to or the other.
Certainly there's a leverage difference between an 11 5/8" Cobra rotor and a 14" GT500 rotor (a 20% longer radius). But the square area of the caliper pistons needs to be considered first. Rule of thumb seems to be 70% front, 30% rear. I've got a 12" Crown Vic rotor with Cobra calipers on the front of my SVO and a non-vented V6/GT setup in the back. Even on a lighter Fox I need more brakes. I'm going to try the Cadillac ATS fronts (13" rotor) and the Taurus (Cobra rotor) rears. Then I'll experiment with master cylinders.
Good info, but for people wanting to retain their parking brake, it doesn’t appear that these calipers allow for that. Curious if you came up with a solution, or just run without?
I havnt had a parking brake in this car since i went 5 lug in 2010. There were kits that allow you to run a parking brake but it never mattered to me.
Dude this is great Info. I’m about to replace all of my front brake cobra r set up to the Cadillac or Corvett now on my 1987 for mustang!!!!! Thanks bro!!!!
Glad I can help, more videos to come.

Cool to see someone taking a Fox road racing, this is what I would like to do with mine... hope it doesn't end the same!
Yea it’s a blast to drive, trying to get more weight in the rear and more aero for next year.
man this car sounds sooo good
Thank you, looking forward to linking up on track.
Sounds awesome, just need a little more hp youd get those newer cars and not have nrake so late, is there a reason you're running stock truck cams ?
Money, I’m raising the rev limiter and installing some oil mods plan on spinning 7200-7500
Have you figured out to make them work yet?
Not yet, I’m going to try soon I’ll make another video.
Hey bud I'm having trouble trying to find the caliper bracket to use for the corvette calipers to sn95 spindles. Could you send me a link or direct me to the right place please. Also what brake lines did you use?
The bracket you need is a Z51 bracket do you have IG? I can send you pics with part numbers. Brakes lines are just new copper nickel and brake hoses are MM SS braided.

Man I really dig your car. Heard it the other day on Gearheads channel. I had just bought Spintech ProStreet 6000s for my coyote swap fox without having ever heard them. If it sounds half as good as yours I'll be ecstatic.
Thank you! Those mufflers are way louder than mine so you’ll prob love it. The issue with my car is some tracks have decibel limits so I can’t be too loud. Also i have neighbors so loading the car on the trailer real early must drive them nuts.
Super useful & great explanation !
Nice break down for everyone👍🏻. And way to represent sponsors in your video. Im about that roadrace1 shirt.
Great info for anyone wanting good details for upgrading brakes on a budget!
Exactly
Interesting. Why not the SN SVT/cobra 2 piston rear? Curious to know why you went with a single piston taurus? It looks big but not sure hot it compares to clamping with two pistons. Can you share the part numbers too?
Of course ill share, Im actually uploading a video describing the swap. I was told to match my front brake setup I should use the Taurus caliper because of the larger piston.
@@EscortSportage Thanks and I've already watched it and appreciate it. Very informative.
The terminator cobra front calipers have larger pistons than a regular cobra 2 piston..
Brakes only slow you down.
What were you mad about at 1:50?
Getting stuck behind that Miata.
Looked good out there. Hands were smooth car looked good until the end. Hope you and the car is alright.
