Yessir! I’ve really dialed it in. Yours was one of the early ones. First batch I did was USN if I’m not mistaken.

@@101skills. this one is just refractory (furnace) cement you should be able to pick some up at a hardware store. Got mine from Lowe’s.

@@101skills. you are welcome! I saw a great video the other day where he used wire to help the clay stick to the blade, you might try that technique! It also seemed like I could run the clay to the edge as when I ground in the Hamon was much higher than my clay was. Feel free to find me on IG and message me if you have questions.

I have no such fan base, but this is handmade, and the design is out there. I expect a little criticism but the only part of the knife community I cannot stand is the “it’s not a drop point slicer in the steel of the day/commonly accepted steel it’s useless!” We all have our tastes and preferences. 😂

Hahahah I’ll take that as a good thing. This is my TW-R model in caramel micarta with an acid stonewash compound grind. Not quite finished still gotta toss a logo on there.

@@lincolnthegoat9894 the front? Or the stonewash? Or the handle? I use a lot of angles and hollow grinds intersecting with flat grinds to give cool details and make the knife more interesting. Hey thank you! I really enjoy making the TW-Rs Books are sadly closed right now. But I have a Facebook group this channel and 2 instagrams (one for collecting and WIPs the other is for finished builds) I definitely want to get more work out to people.

I like em well enough it’s his first design so maybe he will diverge some
