Holy hell what a great album. Of all the cool music coming out of the UK in the mid 90s, these guys were my favorite. Shame all the states know of them is Bitter Sweet Symphony. Never was an Oasis fan but this, Parklife and anything from Massive Attack will always occupy a spot in my musical DNA

This song made its way into the Seattle alternative radio rotation in mid-90s and I remember being shocked when I found out who sang it. Underrated cut for sure.

I remember listening to this album late night at some point in '97 and i didn't skip one track. Classic album from one of the last decades that made real music.

Incredible album. I was 12 when this came out and in no way ready for how incredible this album is. It ages far better than any other album I’ve ever heard. This one and Weeping Willow were essentially the soundtrack of reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

At some point this song really sounds related to the ending solo section of Aphrodite's Child's 'The Four Horsemen' from 1970.

At 2:30-3:30 starting with that quiet guitar solo, then Ashcroft singing softly , so haunting, and puts chills down me.
