We're Ryan and Mylène, two Ottawa (Canada) based vegetarians who travel the world and are always on the lookout for a new adventure. We absolutely love countries with different cultures and have a soft spot for Asia.
If we could live on one just one type of food, it would be Indian food. It's just that good.
Thank you for following our journey, it means so much. We are very grateful for being able to travel the world and are so excited to share it with you.

How much is an all-day scooter rent?
@@fluentprime if I remember correctly, I think we paid 35 euros for the day.
@@TeamSauceTravels Thank you for the quick response! Also, was it safe to ride around the island on that scooter / bike? No crazy driving or anything like that over there?
@ It felt very safe. The streets around the island were mostly empty once you got out of the towns.
@ also, if you go in the summer, I highly recommend a scooter reservation otherwise they may be all booked for the day.
What month did u go? Were going on last week of march but im worried about the rain in hilo. 😢
@@cdimas15 we were there in January. It only rained one day and it wasn’t all day. Just a morning.
Yeah, you’re more in the rainier part of Hawaii there on the big island. I was there in 2023 and It does tend to rain often but it doesn’t rain for a really long time though either thanks for the videos they bring back memories for me when I was there in 23. I was at that farmers market too and it was such a cool place. They had so much fresh fruits vegetables whatever you could think of they had there Hawaii is such a beautiful place to visit. I was there for two weeks. I didn’t wanna leave.
@@big-t7895 it’s definitely a great area of the island!
Is it warm to go in to the beach and the waterfall with the cano in February?
@@invisibledreams6618 it’s hit or miss at this time of the year. You can have a nice day at 23 C or it can be cold and around 17 C. I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to go to the waterfall in a kayak. You can get splashed a bit but won’t get fully wet.
@@TeamSauceTravels Thank you so much for your anser we actually booked a last minute trip to Nerja for a couple of hours ago, We will defiantly have a look at the kajaks. Hopefully we will experience some days that are sunny☺🌞

I love the jungle feel of Tulum!
The city looks very empty, is it even worth moving there if there’s barely any people there?
@@gocarnivoretv1977 in the summer months the area is very busy. It seems to be a destination for local tourism. During the rest of the year it’s pretty quiet with just the local residents.

You said in the beginning that you can start the trail at either end. I didn't see anyone walk in the other direction.
@@stephenphillips1462 You are right, we didn’t see anyone doing it in reverse. I read that you could and it’s also on the website but didn’t We didn’t see anyone doing it that way.
When the route was restored in 2015 it was done in both directions either north or south entrance. However, after the first year they decided to make it one way to maintain the flow. I did it 3 times in 3 months as the first year was free so I got 2 invites after my initial visit. I am fortunate to live in Antequera so I visit very often hiking and photography in the area.

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION ON VEG. FOOD. HOPE TO HAVE MORE SUCH NICE INFORMATION IN OTHER CITIES ALSO.
@@ganeshvaidyanathan3666 Glad you found it useful!
Please take into account that for many naturists it's about the stripping away of society and it's expectations of you, plus also gives you a sense of freedom. Naturism is often best enjoyed in a more social context where you share sports / sunbathing etc with friends and/or family. Until my divorce I was in Spain twice a year, every year with my (ex)wife and kids and we were regularly on the nude beaches near where we were staying. As you're Canadian you will find that Canada is home to a really famous club called Bare Oaks which is based in East Gwillimbury. There is also an association which represents and supports naturists in Canada called the Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN). There is actually quite a large community in your home country. Chances are you just aren't aware of it because naturism is not something that has come up on your radar before. Good on you for at least giving it a go. Chances are you might have enjoyed the experience more if you had a) gone at a slightly busier time, and b) weren't being so focussed on creating the content (not meant in a disrespectful way - more that you're more busy thinking about what filming you could get done to give the experience of naturism a more fair time). I am basing that comment on the time given in the video over to your experience so if you spent a lot longer naked then fair play to you both. As for the do's and don't's - these were pretty well covered by Dexter's reply. He is very right about the community of people that are naturists. My experience is that these are the most unassuming and least judgey of all of society's groups. Body acceptance of all walks of life, regardless of the colour of skin, whether you're able-bodied or disabled, whether you're young or old, it's all about the person you portray yourself to be in your behaviour, not how you dress or the job you hold that is important. Naturists don't care if you are unemployed, have a cleaners job or are a bank manager, they accept you for the person you are, warts and all. One thing I did pick up on which you included in your video was about the age of the people present in Vera Playa. It's important to remember that if you're going out of season then you will most likely only find the older person who has the money and free time to visit outside of main holiday's. If you were there during main school holiday's I imagine that you would likely see a wider range of ages.
@@trancekingpj wow! Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. You have brought up some really good points that we had not considered ie: time of the year for visiting/ age group.
@@TeamSauceTravels well there's so much more to naturism than just going to Vera Playa for a day. Maybe one day take a trip to a nudist beach or club where you can just forget about content creation for a day and enjoy life without clothes or cares. I find the experience amazingly freeing personally.
very nice !!
Went to the Bridge at the extreme beginning of the Pandemic, there were maybe 10 people on the island and 4 on the bridge, tops. :P
I greatly appreciate not having commercials to disrupt the flow! Plus it limits the number of smudges on my iPad while I’m cooking. I saving all the new places you see that we missed last time in 2018.
@@AgendaInMind Glad you found the video useful and that we kept your iPad clean 😆
We are going back for our second visit next year. Same Airbnb in Sorrento for 13 days. It’s only $124 a night, so much cheaper than a hotel, and a walk to the bus and train station and supermarkets. Lovely place!

Would you live in the village of Cabo de Gata? My Spanish husband wants us to retire there. I’m worried it’s very remote.
@@catherinecregan966 You are correct when saying they are remote. They are very small villages. Very cute to visit but also very quiet. For us personally, it may be too quiet. We have an apartment in Vera Playa ( about 1 hr away) we love it there. There’s everything you need and is the right balance of quiet / lively. Mojacar would also be a great place to consider living.

An amazing city
Absolutely! There’s so much to explore and appreciate in this city!
Excited to see where you're headed next!
Paros seems so much more colourful and stylish than I remember from 20 years ago. Not only did you get great weather, but it must have been delightful without the crowds of peak season. I hope you are not flying straight back from Greece into a Canadian winter. it would be so hard in the middle of that cold grey landscape not to wish you were back in Paros, swimming in that warm sea. I assume that being from Ottawa and not Montreal it has allowed you both to resist visiting Hydra which is associated with Leonard Cohen and his muse Marianne?
To be honest we haven't heard much about Hydra, I suppose that's what you meant. Greece is packed with all of those amazing places, it's so hard to see them all. We were very lucky to have perfect weather during our whole stay, just sun and no crowds ( other than in Athens)
what's the earliest tour guide hike? do the tour guides just hang out at the entrance and is it an hourly schedule? And is the walking trail wide--(i have anxiety the past few years and as long as it's wide i am ok)
@@SeekerFitness I believe it said online the earliest was 11 am but I’m pretty certain we got there around 9 am. There are guides waiting to take anyone who shows up when you park your car. The trail is quite large at times and other times it’s maybe 3 ft wide. There’s no danger at all from falling down the volcano ( other than at the top, there’s no barrier from keeping you from falling in but it’s very very wide and flat so you can just stay away from the edge)
An unreal place to see
Thank you for your comment! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. It truly is a hidden gem!
I need to go here

I’m glad you think so! It really is a stunning location, isn’t it?
Great picture quality. You guys make really fun and informative movies. I don't understand why your movies don't get more views and subscribers.
@@Jandewitamateurfilm thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot to us. We are hopeful that one day our videos will reach more viewers.
Thanks for posting your videos of your travels. The images are so sharp and have great colour. I like the way you have individual microphones and have them set up so both of you can be captured speaking even when off camera. Its a shame you didn't have the time to travel across the caldera to Thirasia (also written as Therasia or Thirassia). Only about 319 people live there. Its like Santorini was like 30 years ago. To get there you can take the little ferry from Ammoudi Bay below Oia for 3 Euro one way. The ferry stops at Riva (on its northern tip) and Korfos. At Rivas you can take a little bus up to the village of Manolas on top of the cliffs. From there you can walk down the cliff to catch the return ferry from Korfos. Most people only visit the island on a caldera cruise, which stop at Korfos for lunch and don't climb up the cliff. So so run into only the odd tourist up top.
@@johnprattley945 thank you for sharing the information regarding Thirassia. We didn’t know about it. Hopefully others will benefit from this information!!
