The Best!!

This was the first of many Stooges Bootlegs I bought in the late 80's to mid 90's.I even got the same crackle and pops as you,ripping it with a USB turntable and recording program in mid 2000's when all those appliances for PC's come out.Now there's digital copies on d/l sites. Lived in a small coastal town back in mid eighties.They wanted to burn me for playing this stuff,they hated the music and me to go along with it.

Saw one of the gigs at the Shaftsbury Theatre a year after seeing them at the Old Vic. Not as intense as the Old Vic and Kevin far more polite and chilled in his interactions with the audience, but still a brilliant performance.

Shame there's not a full video of this, but audio will do. The live video footage of the passenger I have maintained for decades is likely the top 3 live performances ever captured. I describe it as a jaunty little 3 minute pop song turned into a 7 minute odyssey of a man teetering on the edge, bleeding into a Mike. Delighted to find it was early in the set and he carries on in the same spirit. More of an exorcism than a show. Pure and uncut. @op: tell us more about the cancellation? I'm something of an iggy historian, but not heard about that

Iggy played 4 nights, I was there for the 1st and 4th -- two of the best, wildest shows ever in a smallish club. The radio broadcast the 2nd or 3rd night (I have a recording of that as well).
