what river is this?
I can be blunt too with my friends/family when I go fishing and we are trying to land a nice fish.... I once said to someone "net it when I say go" but then added "don't f*ck this up" without realizing it ... hahaha I'm sure guest would rather not mess things up and land the fish then worry about pleasantries in the heat of the moment

agreed, Im suprised they even sell rod days on these rivers..
ya some people go for what they want in life and clients will be specially selected, obviously you don't want people going back too often. If you recognize a spot good for you, go enjoy them, don't waste your time on negative thoughts, it will only attract more negative things in your life. Tight lines.
no rod days required just an approved guides plan, it's a google away. lol

Not sure if we have steelhead here in Nova Scotia 🤔 I only just looked up what they are. I know we have rainbows, but I think they’re only stocked or “naturalized” so not sure if they are anadromous here or not 🤔🤔 we can get some beautiful sea run Brooke’s though, not usually the biggest but so tasty. I can’t wait to fish for trout this year when it warms up 🔥🔥🔥🔥
No steelhead there but lots of other fun things to catch!

did you think this was filmed recently, its right now winter? Was filmed in early September, if you watched the video you see sockeye swimming around? There are no winter run sockeye? Maybe pay attention if you are going to hate. lol

I used to love fishing Port Hardy with Codfathers Charters , did it 5 years in a row but sadly its too expensive to travel all the way from Phuket Thailand nowadays

Great memories, many moons ago with captain Ray out of Port McNeil, fishing the inlets, caught lots of salmon, no dog onboard.

It is 2 chinook, Hali is the same everywhere, 3 ling, and 3 rockfish where we fish. Thats why it it is a great place to fish! You can look the regs up online!

Yes very different, 2 springs, Hali is the same everywhere, 3 lings, 3 rockfish in Area 11 north

What setup do you have? Also what part of the Chekamus river is this? What season would you recommend for fishing?
This is the middle section, it is always worth getting out fishing, but the fall for salmon is most fun in Squamish. I fish all sorts of rods. But mostly the pin these days or spey rod.
