Indeed a very rare, interesting and unusual instrument - even for Chinese musical instruments, I might add. It is a zither, but a zither like no other - and a very nice tone, I might add! It is a shame and a pity that this video did not show the entire musical instrument - I was very curious about it, and eager and curious to see and understand all.

Are those silk strings? I'd like to buy a qin, but with silk strings installed. I noticed all of your qins come with nylon strings - even the professional ones - and that's not the best for sound, and of course not traditional. I bought a guzheng from you (I think) _many_ years ago when the shop was called "Sound of China".
