Love your concert Bobby Horton
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
18 апреля, 2014 года. Вроде бы недавно было выступление, а вроде бы прошло вечность. Этот человек, он заслужил чего-то большего, но вроде бы он счастлив)))
Как пел Мик Джаггер "but if you try sometimes, you find - you get what you need" Главное чтобы он был счастлив с тем что у него есть
@@deadbread8446 Вы абсолютно правы, как и Мик)))
That is why I like home songs.Im always away from it!💕thank you
Nice tribute !! Relative buried at National Cemetary , Sgt John Harrison Smith Co E 3rd Iowa Inf .Killed second day of battle.
Ireland loves this song....
And me and my father where there. Because, my Great Great Grandfather fought at that battle. He was Pvt. James H. Hart, with the 46th Illinois, Company A, and they never ran.
Nice; I wanted to see what a Parrott looked like and how it was fired. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing. Ouch and amen
Wow
Does anyone know what type of guitar that is?
I saw an interview with him where he said that guitar is an antique that was made around the time of the Civil War. Can't say what type it is, but that might help you along in your research to find out what type it is.
Benjamin Grist thanks, it looks and sounds beautiful.
Beautiful Tribute!
God bless the 3rd Iowa Infantry....And Pvt. John L Woods, wounded in the Hornets Nest, April 6, died 4/8/1862, Grave #398 Shiloh Nat. cemetery...
No thanks.Bunch of Yankees. Go home.
It gives you chills, God Bless our boys that wore the blue and gray.
Such a pity it's not complete. Great video!
Very cool.
God bless Bobby for all he does to keep the memory of war alive!
hey
no music
As a reenactor, and most importantly as an American; listening to this, knowing that some poor man (or woman) gave their life, and probably had their last thoughts to this idea, if not the song itself, makes me cry. It's an idea that should be in every house in our great country. From Maine to Nevada, and Washington State to Florida. Every one of our states of the USA to the former CSA, should think of this above all else.
Love his work
It could be a beautiful park. But it is not taken care of.
God I love Bobby Horton.
Bobby Horton is the Elvis of Southern Music!
^_^
Wow super impressed was this done in class? And I assume with iMovie?
Amazing job! I used as a prereading strategy for my 8th grade students to prepare them for reading "The Drummer Boy of Shiloh" by Ray Bradbury during this Veterans' Day week. We all couldn't believe an 8th grader made this...really set the bar high for my kids! Thank you. I'll be sharing with other teachers... Peace, Mrs. C J Williams, SMS, 11-12-13
In 1814 we took a little trip
I beleive thats Johhny Horton ( Battle of New Orleans . I think. Lol. ) Good song. Appreciate your sentiment
Billy Yank The tune is an old fiddle tune called “the eighth of January “. Jimmie Driftwood (Timbo Arkansas) wrote the lyrics. Johnny Horton recorded it.
so THAT'S what he looks like!
Sorry I missed your performance at Shiloh. I have all your Civil War Songs of the South CDs. My wife and I got to hear your performance at a Chambersburg Pennsylvania Civil War Seminar on Antietam a few years ago put on by Ted Alexander. My cousin in Birmingham, Barney Perkins, speaks highly of you. Thanks for all your songs.
A nice surprise to see myself and grandson Jacob Thrap shown with our white lilacs (starts at 0:41). We left that bouquet at the 8th Iowa Infantry monument and several others elsewhere. My neighbor Jeff Shay wrote about Shiloh's significance in the history of our town: "More Iowans died here than in any other battle of the Civil War and April 6 was the worst day in Muscatine’s history, marked by a casualty list that touched every neighborhood and left a legacy of empty chairs and widows’ weeds."
Beautiful Hardin County!
Thanks, loved it!
