    Most north europeans and east asians are cool undertoned. They probably shouldn't use henna. It's for south asians and other warm undertoned people.

    I'm so sorry you are regretting your decision, there is nothing worse than making a hair mistake and having to wait for months if not years to fix the problem. But first, I gotta tell you that you look absolutely stunning with ther red coppery hair and it sets you apart from the rest of the crowd. When you walk into a room all heads will turn and you can stop traffic with that gorgeous hair colour. But if you are not liking or loving it at the moment, you can speed up the process by carrying out ONE of the following steps: 1) Use Vitaminc C tablets and shampoo to remove the colour. Look at this video for instructions (ua-cam.com/video/a5HqpmzKPuk/v-deo.html) 2) Use blonde shampoo to wash your hair,it will get rid of brassy tones in your hair. You can use any brand. John Frieda is good brand to use. 3) Use Cassia powder, which is also known as blonde henna together with chamomile tea to lighten your hair. 4) Mix fresh lemon juice, salt and water and spray it in your hair to lighten your hair, but you need to be in the sun for faster result. You can go for an hour walk on a sunny day with that mixture in your hair. It will lighten your hair. DO NOT use bleach. Do NOT use any chemical hair colours. DO NOT cut or shave your hair in a desperate attempt to start fresh. Henna is a natural product and is not permanent, it will be in you hair for a maximum of 6 - 8 weeks, then it will fade quickly. To condition your hair and keep it healthy, silky and smooth, I recommend, amla powder, aloe vera powder, shikakai powder and reetha powder. Use 1 tbsp of each mix with little bit of strong chamomile tea to make a paste, apply it to your hair, leave it on for a few hours, rinse thoroughly. Do not use regular shampoo after it, because both Shikakai and reetha are natural shampoos and cleanse your hair. For dry ends, I recommend spraying your hair with white vinegar, when you are in the shower, leave it in for 5 mins then rinse. Your hair will not smell like vinegar, I promise. And it will make your hair silky smooth. I've been colouring my hair on and off for years with henna and I learned everything from my grandma. I'm Middle Eastern and have dark brown, thick wavy hair. Using natural products for my hair was the best decision I ever made and has kept my hair silky, smooth and thick all these years. Good luck to you and I hope you get to enjoy your natural hair colour sooner than you expected.

    I’d heard about the benefits of henna on scalp so I applied it a couple of times and as much as I tried to avoid it getting into my hair , it did awfully 😂! I didn’t care at first cuz it wasn’t really showing on my natural dark brown hair but as time’s going on it’s getting bright and brighter! I have a slow hair growth and like to keep my hair dark brown but the henna has completely ruined my hair natural look😅

    I used henna on my hair for about 15 years. LOVED IT! But, once I turned 60 I went "factory original". It took time for the roots to grow long enough for a pixie cut, which I then grew out. During those 15 years or so of the henna, everyone kept asking me about my colour and how I got it. I always told them that HENNA IS A COMMITTMENT. There is no going back except to grow out the roots and cut off the red. Only do this if you know you will love it for the duration...and be willing to deal with your roots on a regular basis. Personally, I loved the scent. But, that's me. I had a dedicated hair towel and clothing for henna days. I set aside an entire day for the process. And again, I warned everyone about this. Some took the plunge. Some ran far and fast. Btw, the reason I grew out my natural colour is because my hair was finally silver!! I love my greys. Now I get asked about THAT. "Factory original". Anyway, I'll be keeping your video on hand in case anyone asks me again about henna (after seeing old pics of me...I'm almost 70 now). You gave some exceedingly good advice.

      I am a redhead. I never dyed for fun. I had some unknown woman with clown orange hair approach me at 5 or so, informing me her hair color looked just like mine when she was younger. So, I’ve always had the idea greying reds look bad. Then another stranger soothed that small, but real, anxiety. She was in an Indian buffet place. Hair to her mid thigh (my length, too), with e VERY definite demarcation line around her waist. Red to white. I now realize she had dyed and made a decision at a specific time. So I gloss my red, now that I’m maybe a tenth silver. I preserve a very sharp stripe that is silvery gold, almost silver, and I’m watching another develop and once it’s clear, it will get preserved. I won’t use box dyes. I don’t want to pay colorists. I can maintain this on my own, and that’s liberating.

    • @theminimalisticmarket
      @theminimalisticmarket 2 місяці тому

      Ah yes... The footwear would bother me as well had I not gone somewhere where I don't need anything too fancy 😂 The way I would go about it is probably to choose some sleek shoe, not necessarily a sneaker, but something that would be comfortable enough to walk in, and acceptable to wear for a night out. Otherwise, you can just opt to pack 2 pairs of shoes, and remove something else if it takes too much space
