In this video, we take a trip back to DeLand to see some more simulated service trains. Amtrak 91 also passed by while we were there.

Was that a hood unit with the front end of an MP-36PH..? I'm very confused right now
So, what are you seeing is the “MP32PH-Q.” These locomotives were rebuilt from MARCs GP40WH-2. They were rebuilt using similar technology as the MP36, but instead of putting a full width cowl body, the MP32s retain the old GP40 hood style layout.

Great video! It was nice meeting you that day. Of course 2011 had to show up 💀. And honestly 101 sounded pretty decent that day. I would say we definitely got better catches at Deland the following week lol. And nice you caught 2005 later on! 2002, 2005, 2006 definitely have the best horns in the Sunrail cab car fleet imo.

@@RosLounge Just wish they weren't restricted and were mounted on top, same with the mp32ph-qs
@Your_Uncle_is_watching There’s ones that got their restrictions eased up a little bit, 100 and 109, but they’re still in boxes. FDOT needs to start treating these horns better.
@@RosLounge Oh when did they get less restriction? Just curious. Also, I completely agree, these horns are treated like trash.

Why do the horns have to sound so bad?? It honestly pains me to hear. Is SunRail ever going to replace them, or do we just have to suffer with it?
The reason some of them sound so bad is because debris and junk gets caught up in the chimes. They are also plow-mounted and have restrictors on their air-hoses. There's a few nice ones, but some of them sound like they are on the verge of self-destruction. It's a hit or miss with SunRail.

If this boy is one of yours, take him to Orlando airport to see Brightline. That train is really fantastic and there’s often specials on the website. I found a $22 special to Miami and a $39 special earlier for Orlando to Fort Lauderdale.
I heard that the train sun rail is supposed to run from Deland sometime in July. Is that still true? Does anybody have more information?
As of now, there is no firm date for the DeLand Station opening. I have a strong feeling that it could happen in the coming weeks.

@RosLounge 👍, when I figure out what stations & what days I will be railfanning on the Sunrail system I will let you know. I plan on going to Meadow Woods, Poinciana, debary & debary if it opens when I am there. I will let you know. I arrive in Florida on July 7th.

Hi, MORE STORIES! After a bunch of siren test fails, I once decided to go to Shane Kelly Park and after sometime I was getting nervous, but my dad insisted me to stay and might go late and later the siren finally went off and I was super excited and I actually had video of my dad Filming me filming the siren, but that siren video that I was filming got lost and I have no idea where it is now he has the footage of the siren and then after few more fails I went back to the park again test day and what do you know it went off again so I have seen two tornado siren test at Skelly Park and at the others I’ve actually actually tried the eclipse in Winter Park a bunch of times but they all failed. *Osl Shorts* -June 29 2024

I was driving through and I was like how far down is it going to be so then I finally was almost there and then I looked and it was there and I basically said myself all right now I know what new siren location I might want to get a test there someday , but I don’t know when -Osl Shorts- June 29 2024
