From the ashes of the seminal anarko-punk band from Liverpool "Big in japan" here is Pink military with "degenerated man" the first track of his 1983 album: Does the animals believe in god?.. Enjoy

From their 1983 debut album "naked" here is Kissing the pink with "frightened in france" , pure synth pop for pure new wave minds!, enjoy and dance..
I remember hearing this late at night on a progressive music station and couldn’t find who sang it for years, no internet then. I was beginning to think it was a figment of my imagination. I was elated to finally discover who it was.
Used to love this back in 86 and still love it.
Wow..
I remember this being played on WHFS 102.3 in the Washington DC area around 1982.
Is it me or is it playing just a tick fast?
❤
they're not on spotify🥺 sad
"One time, one life." All you need to know.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely great song. Unfortunately once again no one has noticed.
So innovative.....so underrated
The b side is equally brilliant
Great song WLIR FM 1980🕉☯️🙀🐾
And WFMU played this one.... It's where I first heard it back in the mid 80's. Great stuff..
The New Afternoon Show!!! It’s where all the new music was being played, U2, Gang Of Four, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure…..
the byrds
Mcguin is a nose "singer" like Dylan and Petty.
@@justinfossa1254 so many new wave guitar bands bands were influenced by the byrds
I love all of their music, one of my favorite bands!
i love this ♥
Way of The West's 'Drum' is another lost New Wave classic!
NOT EASY TO FIND.....NYC 80s Clubs
jb's ,the 100 club some great nights
*Alone i climb his spiral mind* is such a horrendous sentence.
I think is better Big In Japan more than Pink Military. Love Janey Casey, love her voice :P
heard it when it was new WUNH was the shit int he early 80's
Just love this song as good tday as it was 25 yrs ago blimy im an old git lol
had this record at the time - nice find!!
muito louco estou lembrando das mnhas loucuras das baladas
Sometimes the breaks just don't happen but it doesn't take away the fact that this was a great song and great percussion. Way of the West should have broken through. The talent was there.
I wish there were videos to their songs esp. big man restless
There are videos for Last Film, Mr Blunt, Watching Their Eyes, Maybe This Day. I agree about wishing there was a video for Big Man Restless.
Thank You
Ουάου...!
I like that LP /I have got it many years ago/. After split they formed band called PINK INDUSTRY
..a more minimal wave oriented cover could be great!
Very much enjoyed shaking to this! Remember this track from post-'O' Level (blimming 'eck, that ages me!) downtime on Radio 1; if I ever manage to get a band together (Ha haaaa!), I'd like to do a goth-punk cover of this single!
Einfach speziell gut.
