1st I have a question where is that ATM? there’s also crazy at ATMs in Denmark. Go visit some of them.
Great video!
So much faffing around just to get on a train
Beautiful road stunning scenery
It really is!
Thank you JOT love it x
Thanks-that's good content-see you soon- Jot~ 💯
Great video and lovely music. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
I am driving to Belgium for a first time , so thank you for a great video . Feeling more relaxed now 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
The 'auto train' European style.
Oddly this reminds me of crossing the border from Quebec to Vermont.
That is amazing! I thought you drove through the tunnel like you drive through the Lincoln Tunnel between New York and New Jersey. I had no idea you had to drive onto a train like a ferry boat and take that to the U K. You really do learn something new everyday.
Great video - love the information it gives about entering the channel tunnel from Folkestone to Calais - good to see before heading that way!
your welcome!
Hello sir, goodd afetrnoon thanks for the updtes z❤️❤️❤️
your welcome
Thanking you
Could you please share the date you traveled? I am planning on going on 15th/16th July and am concerned about queues... It looks very quiet on your video even though its 4pm...
We went on the 26th July
I have a train for 10pm or if I arrive early will they let me on the train?
check with them the rules are changing all the time!
✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈ YOU COULD HAVE FLOWN THERE FASTER. WHAT A CONFUSING AMOUNT OF TURNS AND STOPS AND LANES, OH MY! ✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
this is more fun and you get to see a lot more!
Wow for me that would be too much. I have a friend that take the Ferry.... It that earlier???
not too sure on that one
Wow such a nice picks mind blowing excellent👍
thanks
I like the video
glad you enjoyed
I've been on it before. What a good way to travel to France and mainland Europe. The only time I've been on it about 17 times or more
we like to travel this way to
It's like playing euro truck simulator
NO WAY YOUR CAR GOES ON THE TRAIN. COOLEST THING EVER
Yes way! very cool
After all of that, I'd rather fly.
If you don't have a car, can you ride the train as a normal train passenger?
sadly no!
There are plenty of other trains that are 'passengers only' eg. Paris to/from London
@@jottube878 I've seen videos of buses getting on the train. So if you don't have a car, you can take a bus that gets on the train if you want to experience the tunnel train, right? Of course, you can always fly, or take a passenger ferry. Do passenger ferries still run?
WOW……VERY IMPRESSIVE THANX!
Not an experience I would willingly put myself through!
The maze that you drive through to get to the trains looks similar to the lines you stand in at Disney world 😉
I didn't get any sense where this went under water. I saw them entering and driving through a hallway that appeared above-ground, with windows every few yards in the hall. What am I missing?
They drove onto the train in France and drove off in the UK, didn't show the train ride
yes true! we where on the train for about 30 mins which in that we when underwater but you can not tell you go under water as you are in a tunnel
@@jottube878 lol, I didn't think the train was a submarine! 😃 Point was, why didn't they show the entrance into the tunnel or something, so we all got the sense where they went under the ground. Honestly I thought after watching this they went across on a ferry over the water.
1:52 *Microsoft Sans Serif,* anyone?
What a hassle they should’ve built a road tunnel. So much more practical
why is it icy in august lol
the fact that an underground tunnel that spans an entire channel between 2 great european countries is cool.
And the roads on both sides are absolute shit
Wonderful video but what an intimidating labyrinth!
Takes along time before you get on the train with the car lol 🤣
That’s interesting.
I think the old system was that you went through immigration BEFORE going to the terminal. Why was this changed? (At the Folkestone one you went to the terminal before immigration.)
All this process to go inside a tunnel
What if there traffic
You go through a train to get to the UK border?
He went through all the border controls BEFORE getting on the train. Rather civilised if you ask me...
Wow man, so you load your car into the train and then Chunnel it, and just drive off. No annoying aspects of leaving a car behind.
nope!
I wonder how the wheel being on the right side and driving on the right side works
Forget passing anyone without risking a head-on collision.
@@KamalasFakePolls It's fine if you have a passenger.
just be on a motorbike duh
I drive on the right in a right hand drive vehicle for the US Postal Service all day and then have to switch to left hand driving in my own car. If you do it enough it , you can used to it and don't even have to think about it.
What about for British drivers going to France
And you thought getting to the Lincoln Tunnel takes forever.
He went straight through without having to queue after immigration?
How long does this take?
Hours
depending on how many people are there and how many gates are open about 1 and a half to 2 hours
Ok
In the 80s you could turn up at Dover on spec with a (motor)bike and fare was something negligible like a tenner, the price being subsidised by tax-free on board sales. Everyone came off the return trip with 800 "bennies" either for themselves or to flog at work. Everything's worse now. More laws, more hassle, more queues, more expense.
@@tombartram7384 oh
It's rather crazy you have to get into a lane to talk to someone to get into another lane to talk to someone all while going through a gigantic maze of space. I've never been overseas from here in US but I think I would rather take a flight.
OK think about it this way. To take a flight you have to get into a lane (security) to talk to someone to get into another lane to talk to someone (the gate) all while going through a gigantic maze of a space (the airport). And you have to do that both ends with international travel as you clear customs and immigration at your destination. With this you go through both border controls and customs at the one terminal, allowing you to drive off the train and straight onto the motorway at the other end.
7:24 I think those are radiation scanners.
To check if they have weapons.
Thats a x ray
@@nickpatrick1636 I was saying radiation scanner because I don't think you can have people in the vehicle while an x ray scan is ongoing. A radiation scanner is a passive scanner that won't boil your insides. The amount of power needed is more than a medical x ray.
Very nice and beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
