Thanks for your comment! In fact I have finished using this resurfacing serum, and I really enjoyed it. I prefer this to the resurfacing serum from Biossance - somehow Biossance irritates my skin. Another option you can consider is resurfacing compound by U Beauty. But I would say Tara Harper is probably my favourite.

I think this could be the very first line of defense for your skin, and I’m confident it won’t irritate you. As for spots and pigmentation, I suggest using serums that target pigmentation and melisma, that’s where you need to be more careful with what product you choose as different product ingredients may irritate you based on your skin type. But regardless, I always recommend having a toner like this as the very first step of any skin care routine :) ❤️

Thank you for your comment! Yes you are completely right, many brands instruct the sleep mask to be wiped off. I think depending on your skin type, you might get some over saturation. For me, I actually find it just fine to use overnight. I have very dry skin and I think that could be a factor. Thank you for pointing this out to help other people be mindful what’s good for me may not be the best for them :) ❤️

The best time to apply the toner is after cleansing in the morning and at night. Always use after thoroughly washing your face, then pat a generous amount on your skin to ensure full coverage. Twice a day is the best frequency, but you can also use it more often whenever you feel like your skin needs a boost! Thanks for the comment! 😊

Yes, it does act like a toner. It is not as powerful as some other essence-like products such as the Sk-II treatment essence, but it does provide the first layer of toning and hydration the skin needs. Hope this helps, thanks for your comments :)

If you want to use it for the body I would recommend using it at key areas such as neck, chest, elbow, knee. Of course you can use it on your entire body too but I’m afraid the bottle won’t last very long :)

I use it both morning and night, after toner and before serum. It is a little like toner, but SKII does have its own specific toner and I use this essence as an added step after the toner. Occasionally I skip the toner step and apply this essence directly after washing my face, especially if I did not use make up during the day. Hope this helps! :)

I usually put it on after cleansing and toning: First, I use an exfoliating cleanser, then after I pad my face dry, I put a hydrating toning lotion on. After this is when I’ll apply this serum, because I find the serum works best when I prep my face to be in the ideal stage to absorb all the active ingredients. Hope this helps. Thank you for the comment! Love this question. Here is my honest take: this eye cream does a lot to keep the skin around my eye area resilient, hydrated, and healthy. When it comes to dark circles, I feel it has so much more to do with how well I slept the previous night. Even after using this eye cream for a while, if I didn’t get my usual 8 hour sleep, the dark circles creep up. But they go away as soon as I catch my sleep back and I think the overall strength of the skin is better because of this cream. Hope it makes sense!

@@bareskinact8629 makes sense. I use it sparingly when I feel like I need a glow up. I use my other eye cream mostly for under eye puffiness which is genetics, unfortunately.

When I used both in the morning and at night I felt it works great. The only reason not to use this in the morning is if you prefer a lighter textured eye cream during the day to avoid feeling heavy. Otherwise it is nourishing and moisturizing - exactly what you need both day and night :) thank you for the question! 😉

Shiseido is generally good for age 30+ and above, and even 40s and 50s. I’m in my 30s and I started using it since my late 20s and I found is very nourishing. Hope it helps! :)

I’m a long time Skii user so I’m a bit biased. Between this and Skii I probably will go with Skii given its long history of producing result with the pitera essence. This is the closest that I can find that mirrors what the Skii pitera essence does, but given its hefty price point I may go with the original :) thank you for your question!!
