Hang on: It‘s winter alright. All webcams in the area an surrounding land show substantial snowcoverage. Besides: the USGS does rate the yellowstone volcano with a green status - meaning normal.

Interesting fact: Yellowstone is surrounded by exclusively RED states: Idaho...Utah...Wyoming...Montana...South Dakota...Nebraska. And one purple one...Colorado.

It is not clear if all the pictures are real. And no tourists are seen running away. So, even though the mps are useful, the rest of this is not convincing.

Stop spreading Fear. We just visited Big Island Volcanoes National Park. The cities and people are in no danger, there is NO Lava flow. Only small intermittent eruptions. Plus there are no towns or cities in the flow path.

The ground shook, but no mention of how far from normal. Do seasons change the activity, cause Winter was brought up constantly, so why?? No footage, just eyewitness accounts. Mmkay. What are they concerned about, it never said. Sucky video.

Informative but donʻt know whoʻs terrified or alarmed with this eruption. But all is fine on the island, except for the VOG. It can be irritating, but itʻs tolerable. No fear here.

I live a hundred miles away from Yellowstone, and still haven't heard anything about this. There's snow all over here. How come there isn't any in the pics?

I think scientists are wrong. I think yellowstone IS gearing up for an eruption. Its just a matter of time. I think it will occur sooner rather than later.

Scientist famous last words: " Oh! We didn't think it would do that." Yea, over the years. There have been places where the highway melted. Places where there has never been an issue before. Things are changing all the time, and no one knows the tell-tell signs of these super volcanos. It's been amazing of all the volcano awaking's lately worldwide. I most certainly will not be visiting Yellowstone again. In fact, a state away. I am probably even living way too close.
