Came here from seeing a clip on IG! I'm a big fan of Jake and his journey in life. This conversation needs to be talked about more and understood. I’m a father to a 3yr old beautiful girl. I had to totally change my mindset when it came to tapping into my emotional state. Peace and Highest Vibrations Kings

That young man got something from him that he sorely needed but wasn't getting. Guidance and structure. Even if he didn't realise it himself, hopefully he took it as a learning opportunity and uses it to seek out the guidance he needs in other areas of his life in future. And if we're lucky someday passes that guidance to others down. That's how we better our society.

“That expectation breaks a lot of men” Agreed, but I also can see that a lot of men have made the decision not to carry that expectation as well. It doesn’t need to be said that there’s a lot of wayward masculine narratives which have gained popularity. Even then, before them, a lot of men abandoning(or refusing to stay around to establish) families were prevalent. Still, many of those wayward guys will say “there’s less incentive to be the man who will step up” and honesty, I can see the validity there. As a generation, our men and women have done a lot to become hyper focused on freedoms, indulgences, and “what can I get out of this”. There is very little talk of responsibility, investment, risk, community, and being the model- on both sides of the gender aisle. Anyways. Love the content, boys. Found you recently. The production value is too good for you guys to be this small. Stay at it, and the recognition will come.

Focusing on business only and getting money only attracts gold diggers. Why would anyone in their right mind think that this will lead to successful relationships.

The conversation of allowing your man to have his physical needs met elsewhere is interesting because men rarely even consider allowing their women to have her needs met elsewhere…

While attracting new relationships with men, I’m learning to release a lot of the over romantic part and see men as kings (some) that are seeking to be seen x valued too, and not just for money and him overly providing. That he too is someone’s child and deserves to loved, catered, nurtured and cared for . Great talk. Defs excited to practice the advice given.

Yall are speaking some facts with this one, but I would like to point out that the hyperindependent attitude a lot of women have is kind of a maladaptive survival technique rather than a preference. Women have needed to make their own money and be their protection because a lot of men have used those things as mechanisms for control. Historically, needing a man has been very dangerous for women because it meant the likelihood of being chained to a tyrant. So a lot of women decided to to go into male-centered spaces to be able to provide for themselves, because that was the safest way they saw to get their needs met. Unfortunately, you can't succeed in a male-centered environment by being in your feminine, regardless of gender. And so the most successful women in these spaces had to become more aggressive, competitive, and ruthless than even the men around them. But it wasn't for fun, or to be "cool". It was to survive. A lot of women are overly in their masculine because they feel like they have to be for their own safety. It comes from a lack of trust in men, not from an identification with the masculine. A lot of those women would prefer to be in their feminine (that's where a lot of the "soft life" foolishness comes from), but they genuinely believe that they can't without putting themselves at risk.

A lot of women are tired of being raped a lot of women are tired of being caught in domestic violence. A lot of women are just tired of the violence perpetrated by males. A lot of women are tired of having to walk home clutching keys or capsicum spray because they are not safe in this man's world. Quite frankly you sir have NOTHING to complain about.

I’m a dude. And while the modern age is overrun by materialism, I think men SHOULD learn how to add value. At the end of the day a providing father and a nurturing mother is what makes a solid family for the most part.

It takes decades of having both good and bad relationships to really understand women. I can have a conversation with a young woman today and observe her behaviors for a month and tell you where she will be relationship wise in ten years.
