This tuto video shows 3 ways to create a route/task with XCTrack: - use a webpage (Friendly Air Tool) to create the route on the screen and use the QR code or the cloud code generated to transfer the route to AIR³ - create the route on the map of XCTrack on the device ( in toggle map mode) - create a route from a waypoints'file: download the file, activate it and create the route
AIR3 IP67

AIR³ IP67 test. Showing that AIR³ doesn't suffer from water as long as the lids are closed. This is not a real IP67 test (it is not submerged) but this test shows what any pilot could face in case a lot of rain would fall on the device.

Would it be possible for the air3 to have garmin inreach capabilities/compatibility?
What do you exactly mean? You can use XC Guide with AIR³ that can get Spot & Garmin in Reach and transfer them to XCTrack.
@@flyaircube in case of accident i mean. Phone and data May be out of reach
@@coolmiqqxb with AIR³ 7.3+, you also have Fanet and Flarm signals. So, AIR³ is not connected by satellite, but for security, if you combine livetracking and Fanet/Flarm, you have real solutions to find you. Livetracking means that as long as you have data, everyone will have your track, including your direction. Once you reach the area where your track is not continuing, this means you are quite close. With the Fanet signal, you should be able to get the exact position. This is not the same solution as a satellite but quite close.
Looks like all that searching and messing with airspace files is a pain in the butt, you have a computer, you have technicians, computer programmers, write a program that will do all this work for the customer/pilot. One little on screen button (update or current airspace files/changes). Push! done.... I have been told by app developers, "we can't do that," to which I replied "nonsense, it is a computer, it will do what you tell it to do."
Actually, this is the case, if you use XCTrack to get Airspace, you don't need to do anything. Once you start XCTrack (which is done automatically with AIR³ when you start the device), XCTrack automatically gets the latest airspace and you have an updated version of AIRspace to fly. What is also explained in this video is an additional method, to get an Openair file from a Google drive but it is only for very specific cases. Just use the XCTrack method and there is nothing else to do. More details here: www.fly-air3.com/en/support/miscellaneous/openair2air3/
HELP. I have been playing around with my new air 3 7.3 and I remember having a panel organisation screen up while I was playing around. It let me pick where I wanted my thermal assist screen and my airspace screens to go, it also let me choose other options. I can’t remember how I find that page again! Please help me if you can 😂.
Sorry for very late response. This is not a canal of communication we use. Did you get an answer through another communication mean?
how was the brightness on the 7.1 ? was it flyable with 380Nits?
Check this page www.fly-air3.com/en/support/miscellaneous/readability-2/
What is the most important is to have the screen right in front of your eyes.
This is why we have developed different "Base" that allows the pilot to tilt the screen.
Not probably !!!!! THE BEST ! Impossible to create better !
I' really pleased that you use my free maps (www.openandromaps.org) on a commercial product without any notice/credits
Another reason not to buy, although the shit videos already put me off!
Is this S933L Chinese tablet? xD
It is using the same "case" as serveral other tablets (Swell, Higthon, ...) but with some customisations to make it more dedicated for free flight. Have a look at our FAQ that addres this topic.
Hey guys to compare the two devices should have the same angle. Like this, it looks like you are cheating!
Hi... Did you watch only the end of the video or the full video? The purpose of this video is to show that the tilt (angle) is the most important factor to increase readability. Both devices are unreadable when they are horizontal depending on the sun orientation. This is the reason why we have developped a special base to tilt the screen and we demonstrate at the end of the video that the readability is much improved when it is tilted compared to a bright device that remains horizontal on the cockpit.
So you "develop" an instrument and you are not even able to come with a decent comparison, by setting the same inclination of the instrument? Are you serious?
The purpose of the video is to show that the inclination, obtained thanks to the AIR³ base, is giving a good readability, even better than the one obtained with a much brighter screen. So, the inclination difference is definitly done on purpose as most instruments are placed horizontally on the cockpit without any tilt. You should have a look at the explanations given on the base page www.fly-air3.com/en/base/
