Yes, u can use clip option if u dont want sine wave in the full domain.

Yes, you can extract the slice data, load it as 2D data!
Thank you for your video! After applying "slice along polyline" the results windows becomes blank.. There is nothing. Could it be because the line is outside the water phase?

Please note in latest version of ANSYS ICEM CFD, Legacy option is not available. You can still import STEP/IGES or any other CAD models using the option File>> Import Model Select STEP/IGES or any other file format

Import Geometry> Legacy> ( it have only CATIA V4, GEMS, Rhino 3DM, Plot3d). i used ANSYS R18.0

I used ANSYS 2019 R1, I cannot import any geometry from the SolidWorks to ANSYS ICEM CFD because I don't have ( STEP/IGES) option in my ICEM CFD do have any solution for this problem?
Please note in latest version of ANSYS ICEM CFD, Legacy option is not available. You can still import STEP/IGES or any other CAD models using the option File>> Import Model Select STEP/IGES or any other file format
