These small languages surely would be unusual, especially given that Portuguese and Spanish dominate everything from Mexico and bellow in the Americas. French has Canada and some other territories in the Americas as well. Portuguese and French are major languages in Africa. French and German are wildly spoken in Europe both as first and second languages. Russian has Northern Asian under its rule and is spoken by many who were part of the SSSR. Surely, these would make for some good candidates for unusual languages to read Shakespeare in, given how unpopular and niche they are…
