I don't get it, please redo video in an elementary cartoon version and special ed language with pictures. Thank you!
Please, for the sake of accuracy and avoid future ambiguities, would you Clarify for me the following: 1)You are pointing out that the signal level injection = 17.2 dB; but I think it has to be instead = 17.2 dBm ( power level referred to 1mw) 2) The Y axis in dB represent Attenuation level ( loss) ,and not Power in dB Please tell me where am I wrong or confused?
@lubime10 sure bro, I will make a video on this for you soon.
It will be easier to better understand if you add diagrams to support your explanation.
@lubime10 Got it, will do in the coming video
I love your videos❤

Is it any equipment is available to pin point the copper cable open circuit fault or ground fault.
How we can download the photos from the app ? Kindly assist.
Hello, as you capture photo, it will store in the gallery
Keep it up Sadiq jan
Thanks
in the patching point from ODF to ODF, is it will consider as 2 connecter points?
Yes
Is there any standards mentioned the value of the splice fusion loss and the connector loss ?
These values are set by the companies themselves however the typical splices loss is 0.150 db and for connector it's 0.500 db. But again it depends on the specifications defined the COMPANIES
Can I use APC connector on my OTDR with patch cord APC to test UPC on patch panel port that has UPC connector for testing?
No, it will damage the connectors and will never give you accurate results
can OTDR measure a 20,30,70 and 100m length?
Yes with the latest model OTDR / iOLM you can even measure 10 M length
what is the minimum length that OTDR can measure?
Very helpful , thanks
thanks for watching and glad to know
Thank you ❤🎉
Eid Mubarak🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

Thanks dude only just started my splicing career have a lot to learn this was helpful👍
Glad to know
nice
Thanks
Hi, i have GX OLT and the confusion is the OLT has blue connectors. for PON out put meaning blue patch cords and They have Green connectors on the ONT. now how the splitting should start and which fiber patch c should we use on the customer side.
Perdió argentina
Yes indeed and an upset in the Fifa WC 2022

How bro
salam sadiq, thx for such a great video list. can u plz tel me in iptv network router and switches use LC (duplex) connectors in customer end there is SC/APC connectors how its possible thx in addvance
Let's assume the fiber break or cut at 50km. What are the plus or minus km we can find the cut ?
You need to know the number of MHs and the OFC slack inside them upto 50 KM. Subtract them from 50 KM. You will get the exact distance

I'm a fiber optic splicer (construction)
Thank you sir for your very nice explanation
Thanks, glad to know
Very nice sir
Thanks
In a single buffer/fiber tube of a fiber optic cable having multi buffer tube can contain 12 or 24 fibers strands, *modern fiber cables can contain up to a thousand fiber strands in a single cable* although the highest strand-count single-mode fiber cable commonly manufactured is the 864-count, consisting of 36 ribbons each containing 24 strands of fiber.

What is the mean of colour code to the cable in data transfer?
Color coding is only for the identification purpose. It has nothing to do with the data transfer
which connector have best insertion loss? LC, SC, FC?
that was nice brother, 3 top secrets
Thanks, and glad to know that it was helpful for you.
It was very helpful.
Thanks for watching and glad to know that.
good day Sadiq, i got 0.216dB/km and 0.300db/km loss on my otdr reading for my 1.3km singlemode 2core fiber. is this reading ok? what is the maximum/threshold for dB/km reading?
db/km loss depends on the type and the quality of the cable you are using. 0.2 db is good while 0.300 db is a bit high. Just try with both 1310 and 1550 wavelengths and compare the results. The losses and db/KM loss in 1310 must be greater than the losses in 1550 if this condition is not satisfied then there is a bending or pressure point in your cable else its okay.
@@MSB1180 shukran sir Sadiq, i have also searched the Loss Budget, now I know what is the maximum loss should i get from otdr reading, Thank you!
Shukran
why is the result of splesing event loss the result is negatif in otdr
That's gainer
It is bad splesing mr
@@Fajardani88 No the negative value represents that there is core cladding mismatch at the point of splice. This can happen when you splice two different types of cable.
@@MSB1180 ok thanks mr
Welcome brother
Could I ask you that why APC connector is polished at 8 or 10 Deg? Why not 30 Deg or 60 Deg,..?. Thank you!
Interesting question, I asked this from Kevin Peres who is working with the EXFO and has rich experience in the field of fiber optics you can subscribe is channel for more videos, here is his reply, "It is all a matter of snells law of total internal reflection. I am not sure why 8 deg was chosen, there might be a cost of manufacturing factor in play. It can certainly be other degrees of angle I have not done the math to determine how much of an angle it can be. In the back of my mind, I remember reading somewhere that it must be between 5 and 15 deg. I will have to do some research and math to confirm."
I want to know the model of this device and who is its manufacturer?
Corning is the manufacturer, and I will look for the model number and will share with you.
