I love the scene where Cat is being chased around the cargo deck by the blue orb things. ‘You’ve either got it or you ain’t, and you guys ain’t even close’ as he shuts them in the ‘fridge. This was the first scene I ever watched and I was hooked.

No. No 1 should be Dwayne Dibly first ever reveal scene. Or The large floppy disk scene in one of the last series.

seeing Rimmer stand up to death was glorious.

The scene where the ashes of Ace Rimmer goes through a whirly thing in space to take its place amongst thousands of other dead Rimmers in a ring around a distant planet, all set to a glorious and majestic Howard Goodall theme. I know this is a comedy but that short sequence was simply the best thing of this series, that within a hopeless inadequate like Arnold Judas Rimmer there’s an Ace within just waiting to fulfill a destiny all his own. What a guy!!

You know I stand here now and I look at the two of us and I ask one simple question: who is the rich man? You, with your 58 houses, your private island in the Bahamas, Your multi-billion pound business empire, or me, With with with.. what I’ve got. It’s you isn’t it.

For me, Queeg was the best punchline ever, the build up to it was basically the whole episode. I still find it funny even though I know what’s coming. The mark of good comedy IMHO.

I enjoyed this but there's no way they're the top ten best moments of RD.

Aussie here, who had adored this show for so long, but Mr Flibble scared me even though I was an adult. Still does! One of the best British comedies of all time and my absolute favourite!! Long live The Dwarf!!

The funniest part for me was when rimmer teased lister about his dream on Fiji “mornin’ farmer lister! Just popin’ down the shops en muy submarine can uy buy you anythiN” it’s made me laugh so hard for some reason

One time I was in Dubai with my dad and I saw the cat there, we kind of heard a bit of his conversation and I sounds like quite funny guy 😂

Queeg is my number 1. 28 minutes of brilliance to get to a single punchline. One of the best ever episodes of any British comedy series ever. Up there with the chandelier drop and Blackadder goes forth Flash episode and the office Christmas special.

The person that posted this is clearly of the same opinion as me, pretty much the best of Red Dwarf is in series 4, 5, and 6 Absolutely loved them 18 episodes ❤️
