Excellent video with trams from Helsinki
They look immaculate!
And greetings from Denver, Colorado USA
Old Tatra trams are gradually being replaced with new Pesa trams. Only renovated and low-floor Tatras are going to remain in service until they too are replaced, probably in mid 2030s. 10 additional trams will be purchased soon that should arrive in 2027/28, although the manufacturer is still to be determined. I hope that Skoda wins this procurement and then we'll finally have some Finnish built trams on our streets, like in Helsinki and Tampere 🙂
Excellent video with trams from Tallinn
Toyota Museum is a great stop.
🚽👈Škoda 💩💩💩💩💩💨
Природа и трамвац очень красивы
Great
Mans rajons!
it's a shame that both Latvians and Lithuanians while having a Russian gauge choose 2820mm European body width with their new Pesa and Skoda trainsets instead of a wider 3200mm. It's a missed opportunity to have more comfort /transport more passengers.
Thumbs up!
1:53 this tram is just soo beautiful!! 😍😍😍🤩 It's carriages/sections are very long, (in most trams they are tiny) and the fact that it has so few joints is so aesthetically beautiful...
たまに利用します。
And then bunch of problems happened :D
What about retro-tramm?
and nothing new... before our Rebirth and even in its year, the Vilnius-Riga train ran... and it still stopped in Kaunas and stopped more often than now...😓
The 9th of march was the last day of brisken's ultimatum but there is no any reaction.
cool
0:45 why did he stop behind the sign?
thanks to the most disastrous project 16ev, Skoda gained fame as the stupidest manufacturer and the Skoda vagonna brand became simply a dirty word.
The new trains, in addition to all the other squeaks, such as ventilation without mufflers, the terrible squeak of doors throughout the entire cabin, the rumble of wheels, the creaking of inter-car connections, have already added the hum of traction gearboxes, like in older trains. It seems that the service life of the gears of the yag drives was designed for one year. Moreover, they installed hitchhiking from old trains, and I think, not only hitchhiking, but also many other systems in order to “save” money, which is why the old trains do not run.
The Minister of Transport said: since more than half of the trains have broken down and are not running, we will return the trains to Skoda. to which Christopans asked: will you return the kickbacks too? then the minister replied: oh, well then we’ll just fine Skoda[.
Problem Is not Skoda but your historical tracks and infrastrukture.Modern train + normal infrastructure as in another Europe.
Really? Do You think, that frozen toilets, problems with door sensors, discharging train batteries and other issues are from Latvia's rail gauge and infrastructure? There are definitely Skoda quality control issues.
@@trainzcentral2173 the problem are only in Latvia, in the another countries where is this type are better tracks and better service from natonal transport companies. This problem is ONLY here( even your carrier and the Ministry of Transport have admitted problems with the infrastructure!).IThe carrier must realize that modern trains also include care for the infrastructure and maintenance in the depots - this is not Soviet technology. If you have broken tracks like somewhere in India, it is an incredible load on the frame of the car and no wonder it causes problems. If you neglect these two things, anyone can drive there and it would be a problem. ŠKODA cars are also driven in Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and there have been NO such problems. Caring for tracks and maintenance in depots is standard there! I am not a citizen of the Czech Republic!I was in the Baltic beautiful areas, but the state of the railway infrastructure, but also the tracks in several cities and areas is des. It is not surprising that modern technology does not provide this.
🤔why they using the Dutch NS collors?🤔they get a problem.😂
Dutch colours are yellow and blue. Vivi colours are yellow and charcoal gray-black.
Interestiong train.
Super new Latvian trains 2024 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
1:25 finally stations are getting renovated!
Yes! The new one's are pretty good.
Rather noisy trains
Well, they are not the quietest trains, but they are still way better than ER-2 :)
Really? The same old crap. Moreover, more bugs were added. They shaking, struggling, can't ride normally, because of less motors, and so on. The joints of vagons have abnormal geometry, and jumping even on the straight lines. In the 80th's, RVR announced same thyristor trains, but because of poor quality of thyristors they became unusable in a short time. Now, we payed for the same. Again.
@@eduards5702well it may be because of the infrastructure. When i hear that, theres no wonder, it would be shaky and noisy. (Reminds me of a train engineers, who worked on narrow gauge locos at ČKD. Their locos were perfect (still run in Czech Republic), but in eastern coutries, their bodies broke multiple times. Reason? Bad infrastructure. They told them, they would pay for repairs, but they have to repair their tracks.) And train not having problems at start is a miracle. Even Stadler has them. It just needs time and people.
Nize .. why not electric?
Because most parts of the route from Vilnius to Riga are not electrified.
@@trainzcentral2173 That's a good reason . May this possibility change in the future?
I don't think, that it will happen in the near future. There are some electrification projects on Lithuania's side, but there are no such plans in Latvia.
super super super thanks
Glad to see it!
Excellent train video from Latvia
Excellent video!
🇭🇷❤🇱🇻
Excellent train video! Thumbs up 👍
I love how Škoda is winning so many contracts in neighboring or kinda close countries but in Czechia instead of buying from Škoda we buy from Pesa and so on 🤣 No but hey, congratulations, that train EMU looks beatiful
Excellent news from Latvia
It was very long way to this moment...
0:26 do this crowd knows the rules how to approach to trams on the stop with road traffic? when tram stops and open the doors only after that you can approach to get on tram - if tram not stopped with open doors - cars still can go through stop and hit anyone
Usually on that road cars are very rare and now, during the constructions there is no way for cars at all. Do not worry about people, they know rules how to get on trams.
no they don't, neglect behavior and not following rules - typical post soviet country@@Yevgeshik
Sure, they don't. Passengers are allowed to step on the street only when tram doors are open.
@@trainzcentral2173 Passengers know rules, but behave according to situation, there is almost no cars running on that road and road is clearly visible. Believe me I know that area.
@@rubik777 Neglecting behavior and not following rules does not mean they do not know rules, they know, but acting unresponsible. Yes, this typical soviet people live in that area, believe me I know Kengarags's residents.
You need to film/upload in 60fps for this type of content.
Yes, perhaps it could be considered, only it would require a better lens than I have right now, as fiming 50-60 FPS higher ISO would generate far more noise.
Snow is in Riga...
Excellent .. would also like to see trolleybusses 😅
Nize to see the older trams refurbished and lin service👍
