Sharpening Horse & Cattle Clipper Blades With a Lapmaster 15
This video shows how we sharpen horse & cattle clipper blades using a Lapmaster 15. This process polishes the surfaces of the blades rather than grinds them so they will last longer.
First we check the calibration of the machines and adjust the position of the conditioning rings accordingly. The lapping surface has to be at the correct pitch for the blades to cut properly when tensioned so we pay particular attention to this. Next the cleaned blades are held in position with workholders and polished for at least 20 minutes.
Once polished, they are cleaned, checked, oiled and packaged ready to be sent out. For more info about our sharpening service, please see www.ukcountrystore.co.uk/acatalog/Horse-Clipper-Cattle-Clippers-Blade-Sharpening.html

Storing Your Clipper Blades
Переглядів 2925 років тому
Video shows 2 sets of horse clipper blades that have been stored differently. One in a a bag after being covered in oil and another after being wiped dry and left in a box without a coating of oil. You can see the rust beginning to eat into the teeth on one of the sets. We can sharpen them but they will not hold a sharpen very well and this will decrease the life of the blades considerably. Adding A Gate Into Tape Electric Fence
Переглядів 9 тис.6 років тому
Showing how straightforward it is to put a gateway in an existing tape electric fence using our 'Mobile Gateposts For Tape Fences'. Would have been a lot easier if the ground hadn't been rock hard but it gives you the idea of how easy it is. Just put the posts in the ground, clamp the tape in the hinge post, then in the latch post, attach a handle and hey presto, you've put a gate in your fence...
Watching this, I think any fence posts should function well as gate posts with appropriate insulators and tape tensioner (e.g., wood vs. t-post tape tensioners). Frankly, wood posts would be more robust than shallow foot-pounded posts. T-posts are cheaper and potentially more stable if driven deeper into the soil. The usefulness of this system lies with the handle device hook used to connect polytape from one insulated post to another, which has a polytape tensioner. Similar to wire systems - but adapted for polytape.
Nice.
Boa tarde
Di mana belinya bos ?
Where did you get the posts for the gate? I haven't seen "gate posts" available anywhere
I have a similar system and bought a cheap solar charger from ebay that works a treat and keeps the battery charged, mine has not needed any charging or maintenance for two years up to now.
Awesome! Please share with me the solar charger connections. Thanks for your help!
What is the name of the system
