Just remember, NO Norwegian invented the paperclip, that is a myth! There was a Norwegian that invented some sort of paperclip, but it didn’t work very well and never became a well known product. The paperclip everybody thinks is a Norwegian invention, I actually believe is an American invention, but don’t take my word for it, since I didn’t double check to be 100% sure right now. But, we all need to stop claiming the paperclip (binders, paperclip made from one piece of bent metal wire) as a Norwegian invention since it simply is NOT TRUE!!! Just saying… ☺️🤗 ♥️💟♥️ 🇳🇴🇺🇸
Now I understand why this show went on hiatus. This is the first season where I'm actually a bit bored. These people are either totally anonymous, or unlikeable. I don't care who stays and who goes.
@@nordicgaming2572 Allt för Sverige is the same, i dont think you can stage the same show every season, allt för Sverige is on season 12 right now and they act in the same way, and i dont think its fake.
As one of those Diaspora Norwegians who have made it back home, its so wonderful to see the how passionate the contestants are about finding out their history
It’s just frozen pizza. What is it that you don’t understand? Every country has it. Grandiosa was the 1st Norwegian frozen pizza brand. It’s not that the pizza is any good. It’s just about nostalgia and what you’re used to as that’s what we all grew up on back in the 90’s and 2000’s. And you don’t have to understand. You’re not Norwegian. Then again you Swedes aren’t exactly known to be the smartest of the bunch… 👀😬🥴
@@kilipaki87oritahiti Excuse me but who are you? Frozen pizza, especially Grandiosa, is not very common in Sweden and maybe that's why the two of us don't understand why our neighboring country likes it. Can't believe I have to tell you that I'm also half Norwegian and grew up partly in Norway. Don't understand why you seem to be so angry, not everyone in Norway loves Grandiosa in either. Get a psychologist because you seem to need one , when you comment so stupidly and for no reason at all.
Seeing how happy and excited they all are about their ancestry and Norway makes me so proud to be a Norwegian. So much of their life and things that happened during the show and after really makes me smile and I'm happy they hold so much love for it and make it such a big part of their life. Loved the show and them <3
You are so kind - thank you for all the amazing words! And it’s not just things during the show… the community you fall into after the show of SO many amazing former contestants is priceless.
I feel like I'm swimming in irony when Norway's biggest problem, Pakistani, wins 'Alt for Norge'. Not for this reason I hate this season though, but because of poor production. Maybe the last season can get us back to what AfN should be.
The ski part was utterly ridiculous. The entire competition revolved around figuring out how to manipulate the bindings, rendering everything else irrelevant. It was poorly conceived and executed. It is crucial to avoid incorporating critical elements into a competition when there is no opportunity for adequate training, as it undermines the fairness and integrity of the event. Frankly, this competition was no better than a mere coin toss. Why couldn't they hire someone intelligent to oversee production of this magnitude? This season gives off a strong impression of haste and lack of thought. Furthermore, employing a knock-out competition model for a production like this, where emotions run high, is incredibly unwise. It results in missing out on many heartfelt moments. A much better approach would be to adopt a points-based system where the number of points increases with each episode, allowing everyone a chance to win until the end. Yes, it may be more expensive to have all participants make it to the final day, but the increased advertising revenue alone would make it worthwhile. Additionally, it would be wise to incorporate about one-third of scripted content, considering how difficult it is to act naturally when intense emotions are involved. The scripted parts should be tailored to suit each individual participant. Some may argue it's fake, but it undeniably makes for a more compelling TV show, particularly when executed with competence and skill.
We norwegians like things that are real. Something like that would be unheard of here, and would be leaked by the team and destroy the show. Norwegians would simply stop watching. Trust me this has happened to many shows here when it turned out parts were scripted. Also this is my favorite show in the world, I love it.
@@Sinekyre14 No, introducing a partial script could enhance the show's intrigue, as it guarantees the occurrence of topics that might naturally arise by chance. The extent of authenticity achievable hinges on the execution. Deeming it genuine solely when luck spontaneously intervenes, and fabricated when luck's intervention is deliberately ensured, is nothing short of absurd.
@@UA-cam_Stole_My_Handle_Too I'm saying the film and set CREW would leak the fact that some parts are scripted, which has happened in the past in Norwegian shows. Norwegians HATE that and boycott any shows where it happens
