I love the gate volunteers but after 11 years I'm kinda tired of feeling like a smuggler every time I enter. I can't understand someone risking everything they planned for trying to smuggle a free loader in. But hats off to them.
What are they searching for? What is not allowed?
The primary focus is on stowaways, firearms, dogs, and fireworks. There is more to it than that, but those are the main things.

I personally would love to work gate duty and working within the dust storm and help the people around. I do this anyways in everyday life. How do you handle the people wanting to go in the sand tornado's?
