Hi Pranta , Good evening As I have planned to study abroad In nova SBE and , there only masters in finance , it is not msc in finance right ? , And I also wanted to know, that do they offer a campus placement from the organisation
its a msc in finance and hey do not have campus placements like in India

You still need to submit bank statements and ITR, alongside the document that states your scholarship

Hey man how long did you have to look until you could book an appointment? I'm searching at the vfs website since 2 weeks they're not launching any appointment slots in any centre.
keep checking all the centre, I got mine after looking for over 90 days, anywhere you get book it and fly there, keep in mind diu daman, goa has different embassy compared to the rest of india

did you take travel insurance for your whole stay in Portugal?
I took it for the entire duration of the course, and I recommend you to do the same as well, it comes handy in case you need it
hey bro, i applied for msc in finance at nova but got accepted in msc in business analytics, i don't have a profile for that field .... What should I do ? And also, does that mean that I got rejected for Msc in finance ?
you must have kept BA as your second choice, and since the seats for MSc Fin gets filled pretty quick, and after seeing your profile they allotted you to that course, you can request them for reallocation to finance, if not this intake maybe next?

there were no interviews taken in my case, However I guess interviews are mandatory for CEMS programs

I applied for msc fin, both the programs are similar besides doing a year abroad
Do you live on Campus or in Lisbon? Which one would you recommend, also considering what the other students are saying about this topic?
Makes sense to stay near the campus in the first sem, as class schedules are irregular but dense, and then make the decision to move to Lisbon in the second sem if you feel like that suits you

Have you heard that the uni sends out emails to students for Management and Finance to ask if they wanted to switch to IMF and IMM? Is that correct? Yeah. The admissions department just told me it's not possible. It's just that I thought I might ask you, since they always take like 3-4 days to answer to emails and don't ever pick up the phone. By any chance, do you know what type of language certificates are allowed for the second language for the IMM or IMF? Since there is no specific info for this on the website, I asked them this question 3 times already and they always repeat the same answer considering the English certificate. It is so annoying. So maybe you have heard of someone submitting a DELF, DALF or TCF certificate for the French language, which I will choose in this regard. If not, don't worry but honestly, this lack of service or information on such an important topic regarding the admission is very annoying. @@prantosaha
Did you have to legalize your educational documents obtained from India at the level of the Portuguese embassy before applying for admission?? I understood that most Universities in Portugal require you to have your documents legalized at the Portuguese embassy in India before applying for admission otherwise your admission can't be further processed!
That's not true, you need to apostille your documents from MEA for visa(not for uni application), and that is widely accepted there is nothing like legalising documents at Portuguese embassy

Hey! What is the situation on part-time jobs for the students? Do the university hours allow you to have jobs?
Not really, the course work is demanding, and the part time wages are pretty bad here in Portugal, so it makes sense to just focus on studies so later and secure good grades on you have access to better jobs
Is gmat required to apply in Portugal business schools for msc and mim?
It's not mandatory, but if you have low grades on your bachelors you can supplement them with the GMAT

@@Boozneos-h2x most career events are in English, there are only some specific ones for German consulting firm, where they look for german fluency
@@prantosaha for which locations are the firms recruiting? Are there many English speaking companies? I heard many internationals studying in NOVA who had problems since the strong presence of German and Portuguese companies where they could not work and most common exits were becoming an auditor in Luxembourg after a master of finance
