@@macc4 the cam was already in the car when I bought it. The guy I bought it from said it had upgraded springs. I'm not sure about push rods. The car is a manual also.

@@Handles_are_good_for_holding over time they will tend to wear out faster. Mine are still rubber. I have polyurethane ones I have and will be upgrading to in the future. You can also use solid motor mounts but that will just make the whole car shake more.

@@MindfulAura73 it is mainly cammed. It is a BTR stage 4 cam, LS6 intake manifold, longtube headers and straight pipe exhaust and ECM tune. The heads and bottom end are stock. Just keep in mind if you go with a really big cam, you may end up having to also change the rear gear ratio (mine is a 4:10) and you may have run a bigger stall converter ( if it's an auto transmission.)

@MindfulAura73 But yes, the cam will get you the choppy, rough idle sound. You just may need to do some other supporting mods depending on how big the cam is.

@@alexhanson4101 I haven't had mine dynoed since I've owned it, but it was making close to 400 whp according to the dyno sheet I got with the car. Mine idles great but it surges and bucks when taking off from a stop or stop and go traffic. You have to rev it higher to overcome that. It can be a handful to drive in heavy traffic. I'm going to do a video on big cam drivability soon lol. I have stock heads too. Hopefully one day I'm gonna do a complete rebuild and boost it.

@@sergeantzoomie I'm just impressed you were making 400 with the stock heads. I didn't realize the stage 4 cam with stock heads would put down the same whp as a stage 3 cam with ls6 heads. I definitely need to rev it a lot, I can only imagine the stage 4 being even more so. Sounds awesome!

@@alexhanson4101 yes, that 400 is just a rough estimate on my part. It made 373 hp to the wheels before the ls6 intake and holley fuel rail (not sure that would help much hp.) I need to dyno tune it again. That ls6 intake after the tune probably intensify the running rich problem.

@@alexhanson4101 the EST Dynojet HP was 428 on that same dyno sheet. Idk which is truly right. 428 or 373 whp..lol

1) get a Fast 92 or 102 intake manifold 2) get a ls2 Throttle body 3) bigger injectors from FIC 4) better tune
