Hike to Toketee Falls
Located in south central Oregon in a remote area of Douglas County, about 60 miles east of Roseburg up Highway 138.
You can explore the area by hiking the 0.4-mile Toketee Falls Trail. The trail leads to a platform where you can witness the North Umpqua River cascading through a narrow gorge, forming a two-tiered falls. The upper descent drops 40 feet, and the lower falls plunges another 80 feet over a sheer wall of volcanic basalt for a total of 120 Feet.

With a high flow of 4000 CFS on the East Fork of the Carson River, my 4 friends and I set out on an overnight trip, camping at the Hot Springs. The river was very pushy and fast, were down to the hot springs in an hour and half. I had to work hard keeping the raft off of the rocky outcroppings the first day. Having FUN with Classic Cars at Hot August Nights in Reno and Sparks Nevada. After all the preparation oil changes, tune up, etc. My battery decided to die, we had to get jumped twice. The generator just couldn't keep up... Finding a battery for a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere was not an easy task.

Sunburn Alley is a float from Interstate 5; Amacher Park to River Forks Park, the confluence of the North and South Umpqua Rivers in Roseburg. Oregon. We paddled my inflatable kayaks down the river through the backyards of homes along the river. This is a popular summer activity in Roseburg.

Canoeing the Green River from Mineral Bottom to the confluence with the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park in May of 2016. 5 canoes in our group and 10 people paddled 5 days on the Green River in Utah exploring canyons and petroglyphs along the way... We were picked up by Tex's River Tours and Jet-boated back to Moab Utah up the Colorado River.

I drove my 1971 Chevy Pickup to Hot August Nights in 2015. Video features Randy Kehr's 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T with a 440 Magnum V8 engine. There are lots of things to do at Hot August Nights and we explore some of those things not to mention the free concerts. Dan Steinhoff and Nick Nix also appear in this video.

Graffiti week cruising 2018 with Miss Douglas County Emily Warren and her court. In Ron Hilbert's fully restored 1965 Mustang convertible. A two year project for this restoration. 289 V8, with 4 speed manual transmission and factory air conditioning. The Mustang was built in March of 1965 in San Jose California and sold to a Ford dealership in Seattle Washington.

Whitewater Rafting the North Umpqua River with Lily Floyd (age 15) August 23rd, 2018... Grandpa Ron has taught Lily lifelong skills of camping, rafting, canoeing and kayaking. Her first major trip was on the Rogue River wilderness section 4 days rafting at age 6.

I think the original poster was making a joke. The cats look like they aren't carrying much. They look light and easy to flip. I see a lot of rafting videos of people who aren't ready to deal with flipped boats. People don't know about just taking their oars out of the water, apparently.
