Super Mario Bros. 3 Lost Bonus Levels
Переглядів 10 тис.11 років тому
This particular patch that enables these mini games to be played works best with the Japanese version of the game. For more info on these levels and how to play them check out this page: themushroomkingdom.net/smb3_lost.shtml
I didn’t really know how really Mario in Japanese get smaller and smaller. But English Mario took damage of it, but he he turns into Super Mario.
The original Japanese version was made in 1988. And then it was Translated in English in 1990. You know that, right?
1989 in the USA.
Quesiton: does this happen in retro 64?
Japanese version has no mercy
The USA world names are painfully lazy compared to Japan's
I need a Japanese rom
Super Mario Bros. 3 USA was EASY... Super Mario Bros. 3 Japan was HARD...
0:27
0:33
US version: For babies JPN version: For *M E N*
The Japanese version had a lot of bugs
The lost water level in 7:36 would've fitted perfectly in the final release...
US Version: *Is Easier* Japan: Write It Down, Write It Down!
0:10-0:49 *_IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, GET OUT OF THIS VIDEO!_*
I don't get it.....
Alfred Dalaire002 the Goomba looks like the tip of a black mans uhh... thing... (Be careful there are children watching!)
@@HBKnowItAll Yes, there *are* children watching. *there's one talkin' to you rn*
Alfred Dalaire002 you're too young to know what I mean...
@@HBKnowItAll no no... i'm 10... i see what u mean XDD
What about that box art level?
You really can’t recreate any of these levels in super Mario faker. 🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣
Roll an odd number to play the roulette game Roll an even number to play the card game
Roll 1 to get a 1UP Roll 2 to get a key Roll any other number and get coins
2:48 HOLD UP IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE??
please, diference of luigi's mansion gamecube beta vs. final version, greet me in your next vido
You forgot that Peach doesn't try to troll Mario in the Japanese version after being saved.
The world 0
World 8 Castle of Bowser
Boom boom It s my fortress
What's the difference at the end
Zoey Pelonis the difference is that the Japanese has the landless names for the kingdoms, (besides Grass Land) and in the American revision 0 had the landless names like the Japanese but "Castle of Kuppa" is changed to "Castle of Koopa".
They are the Hidden Dice Games that are unused in the japanese game and usa game the usa version is more glichyer
May you do the GBA version next?
japan version have failures
usa version wins!!!!!!!!!!!
Jean-François
dose this work for emulators
To tell if it is an emu. look at the sharpness of the image!
(I will never refuse to help even if it is an old message)
I like that name for the level :)
what are the name of SMB 3 in japan
The one one super nintendo is best, better colour and everything :P
GBA version is arguably the best version. Lots of great quality of life changes at the price of a miniscule visual downgrade because of the GBA's rather small screen.
japan
first
weak kids in USA, they need help.
lol.
Sonic and mario
Do you still get a pitiful 100 points for beating Bowser with the fireflower in the Japanese version?
Yes.
I just downloaded the Japanese ROM. The words are in Japanese, but the rest of the game is IDENTICAL. You still revert back to Super Mario (not Mario). The castle on the first level is also the exact same as the American video. Anyone know how to get the ROM used in this video?
I figured it out. The ROM coded in 1996 is not this version. You need the version ripped in 1999 to match this video. The one on Emuparadise is the wrong one, you want the version from Doperoms
Surely it should be the Western Release, not just the USA release? Also was these changes also the same in Mario All-Stars?
Not really. Because it's normally Nintendo of America that does the western releases.
Yes really as it was the international release.
***** I see that you are missing the point. The 2 main companies of Nintendo are Nintendo of Japan and Nintendo of America. Almost all English versions of Nintendo games are done by Nintendo of America. So it's an American release. If it comes to say, the UK. UK didn't release the game, Nintendo of America did. So just because it was international, US was the country that released it.
Makes me wish we had the Japanese version. I wonder why they just assumed we were pussies.
+McluvinAddFillerHere They did the same thing to Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II here). It was ridiculously easier in the American version. When I played the Playstation re-release years later I wondered why the hell the game was so much harder.
+McluvinAddFillerHere I had the japanese version... there you had to choose wisely your power ups since a bad employed pwing meant both the lose of the item and a death by bottomless pit. Not to mention you also had to save that cloud for THAT ONE LEVEL IN KOOPA CASTLE
It was Howard Phillips fault that the western games were easier, starting with Super Mario Bros 2j. Howard had a very strong influence at Nintendo of America and his imput was respected by the Japanese. It's not that the Japanese thought we were dumb, it's that Howard was sympathetic to young American gamers and didn't want them to be frustrated.
Why do you turn small when you lose only one thing in the Japanese version of Mario Bros 3?
Because they don't whine when games are too hard. :-)
***** Stop being a Xenophobe.
Ella Phillips lol! I think you need to look up what that word means.
@@Fogmeister Super Mario 3 isn't that hard to begin with. The USA version simply has quality of life changes to enhance the experience.
At least Super Mario World on SNES went back to small Mario 😁
Do you know that i spack japanese look あなたは私が日本人を見てSPACKことを知っていますか
Google translator hello
日本語版はそれが難しいためだから優れていると私は専門家で
GamingLover 2843 君が専門家なんて知るもんか
***** Neither does GamingLover 2843; they clearly used Google Translate to make it look like they knew Japanese.
Why is there some english text in a japanese game?
It's less memory for the NES to have to handle. Also, you are required to learn English in most Japanese schools.
Wow... I never realized when I was playing this as a kid that the islands in Water Land (Ocean Side) are in the shape of Japan. Also never knew how much harder the game is in the Japanese version. Nice to know.
1:02- I don't get it.
timing difference
Minor difference during that sequence also is that world 6, 7, & 8 all have differences in the titles.
Maybe you can walk when Toad is still talking?
No difference what so ever it's just a little bit more challenging on the Japanese version but it's the same concept beat Bowser and let him fall down. Well I think we got it a little bit easier for North America I don't know about Europe if it's the same as Japan but at least anyway you slice it the Japanese version to me is a piece of cake but it's a bit challenging but not that much.
Dude. Just because the changes are not anything major, that doesn't mean they're not differences.
USA Version is too easy アメリカ版チートすぎだろww
