We are Joe and Jessica. We are starting our Journey to see the world. Our bucket list is quite long :-). We both thought visiting all continents will be cool then we decided as a traveling goal to see all 7 Wonders of the World. The waterfall in Aquas Calientes is worth visiting if you have the time but I agree you only need 1 day to see the entire town. Thanks for sharing.

The colorful attire in the parade is cool. I think they had something similar in the Cusco area as well. My husband and I used Uber and taxi instead of the Tuktuk but I'm sure it would have been a great to experience riding in one.
We used Uber in Cusco. Taxidatum was very helpful.
Cute there is a sunroof inside the Tuktuk.

They are honking to warn people but yes in some areas drivers are pretty aggressive.
Lima area seems to be a little more aggressive drivers than Cusco, Yet we did not see any car accidents.
Peruvian food is delicious. I miss ollantaytambo myself. We stayed for 2 days and I felt it was not enough. The biggest regret was ended up staying in Aquas Calientes for 2 nights. We could have used the extra day in Ollyan.
Thank you for the support, we stayed for 3 nights in ollantaytambo and 1 night in aquas calientes. 1 night is enough for aquas.

Haha, that's the town we took a cab back to Cusco after visiting Maccu Picu. The cab ride down those mountains was the scariest part of our journey. These drivers have no rules of the road, just one foot on the gas and one hand on the horn!
The roads were pretty challenging to drive definitely.
Love the town of Ollantantaytambo. It is a nice stop on the way to Machu Pichu.

That is a very nice aerial view of the Ruin!
I was in Ollantaytambo 3 months ago and hiked the same ruin. The sharp rocks was treacherous but it is a short hike. Beautiful as soon as you reach the ruin.

@@rickduvall9265 that’s tough, I’m a foodie as well. Here in Cusco Peru, we love Kusy Kay. It is easily one of the best in my opinion. We visited twice. In ollantaytambo, there is apu Veronica. If you watch my other short video you will see one of the presentation of their food. In Greece, we love Votsalos, it was delicious. I can keep going on. I appreciate the support. We will be visiting another recommended restaurant here in Cusco, and will upload a short video so stay tuned. I appreciate the support my friend.
@@Joseph-yx1pl when I went to Perú it was for a network support issue at an open pit mine near Cerro de Pasco. Didn’t get to do any sight seeing. Running around an open pit mine at 13,000 feet was a blast. My colleagues kept warning me “don’t do that!” As I’d run around.
