Rhythm & Hues is a extremely talented artist from southern California named Helane Freeman who has created an art form very unique, very groundbreaking and very cool. Blending her talents, singing and using the rhythm of her percussion, Helane creates fine art in a fun way.
Helane is accompanied by singer & guitarist Gary Ballen, the two play and sing together while she creates one of a kind paintings. They soon will be adding more musicians to the mix.

This was our second show performing for the Westlake Village Art Guild at the Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks featuring our guest performer Jimmy Z on Saxophone and Harmonica. The songs we performed for this painting were Mr. Bojangles, Brown Eyed Girl, Drift Away, Folsom Prison Blues, Johnny B Goode & Happy Together. Helane & I spent a beautiful night in Ojai, CA enjoying the incredible singers and musicians in the Postmodern Jukebox.
