I made this video to show you my way of polishing checker plate in cold weather! this shop had no heat or insulation! it was -12 degree Celsius outside and well below sub zero inside! I'm proudly using @RenegadeProductsUSA for many many years! and it never let me down! The products work amazing on a hot summer day and still makes high level mirror finishes on a sub zero kind of a day!

    I like your videos, I subscribed. I started polishing for the first time today, my 25’ aluminum trailer. I sanded 220-320-400-600, I bought the Zephyr kit and a Makita variable polisher, Did my cut with orange and brown but no matter how tight my passes are I keep getting hazy lines . I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, I tried lots of compound and other sections with less but alway getting the same result. It’s pretty cold here 6 degrees Celsius maybe that’s a problem, It has a slight haze to my finish and shows up worst after I colour it with a green joker wheel and green. Hats off to you this is hard work

    Why not use a chem or something to remove all that build up before sanding? It would probably save you so much time.

    • @thejelletouch
      @thejelletouch 11 місяців тому

      It honestly won't save me a lot of time as the buildup sands off within seconds and I'm after the pitting. So if I use a chemical like acid the inside of the pitting will show white. So it will be harder to see in the sanding process

    Hi there! I have a Pet Grooming Trailer. It is made with .040 aluminum trailer and it is all white. I do not know the differences in Aluminum but I am told it is .040 aluminum and it is white not silver. Don't know the difference but I would like to buff and wax. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Im having the hardest time getting a clean look and clarity on my tanks. I have hazey streaks left by the wheel that will buff out if i use lots of compound but the wheel will just leave more streaks somewhere else then. I took a short video if you wouldn't mind watching and giving me your opinion. Im almost ready to give up it's very frustrating. ua-cam.com/video/GcmLPCyq9ng/v-deo.html I sanded beginning from 120 up to 800 and then I use my orange wheel and brown compound at 3200 rpm. It seems no matter how hard or many times i go over a section it will leave hazy marks or streaks. My yellow wheel with green compound will leave marks and even my white wheel with purple even leaves marks that i have to fix by trying to go over with my cuts again!

    • @thejelletouch
      @thejelletouch Рік тому

      It sounds like you going to need to use some more speed like a 6000rpm grinder for cutting. It's a bit more dangerous and the grinder is heavy! But of you sanded down from 120 to 800 I'm sure you can use a 6k it will give more heat so also more shine

    How much is something like that cost? I have 150 tanks

    • @thejelletouch
      @thejelletouch Рік тому

      The average tank goes for 180. Tanks all the way around off the truck start at 275 It includes 2 steps sanding and 3 steps polishing every additional step that's needed 20 extra. If you legitimately have 150 tanks I will give you a better price. You can always give me a call for more info. 506-961-5616 thanks and have a great day!
