Westwood Warriors! “1991” Mesa Az.
I just noticed that you left the H out of the acronym in the sign for some reason. 🤔 SHITO!😂
Would love to see the completed project was looking great
We are super excited for the final video! It is going to be released on August 20Th
It's looking so good!
What's that rubber you put around the glass before reattaching the frame? Do i need that for a single glass panel?
It depends on the door. This door is an aluminum door so it will have a rubber boot that goes around the perimeter of the glass where vinyl doors do not need a boot. If you are replacing existing glass in a door then the boot or setting blocks should already be there. If you have more questions feel free to message us on Instagram and we would be happy to answer more of your questions
I have an old sliding door i want to change to tempered glass. How do you figure the dimensions for the replacement glass panel?
When I am replacing glass I usually have 3 dimensions that I need to get: The glass thickness, the width, and the height. If it is a dual paned glass panel I will usually assume that the spacer in between the glass is 1/2" so measure the approximate thickness of the glass divide the remaining measurement in half and that should be your thickness. For the height and width you find the daylight opening which will be what part of the glass is not held by the frame. Once you have your daylight opening then I add the approximate amount that is hidden in the panel and that should give me my dimensions. Make sure that you add the extra for both sides
How would you approach adjusting that door if it were rubbing the header instead of the threshhold?
If it is rubbing at the header you are going to work the process in reverse and shim the bottom block to try and push the panel towards the threshold. Depending on the door and the configuration of the glass blocks you might have to move them around to get it to sit correctly. I will try and record a video to demonstrate what I mean. If you want to discuss it further feel free to reach out via email or instagram
Why Home Depot? If you’re trying to build an affordable tool kit your dollar doesn’t go very at stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s. You should have went to harbor freight. You could have easily doubled the tools and have a more comprehensive tool kit for $100.
With a $100 budget you were FOR SURE at the wrong store! And, what's the point of the square with nothing to do the cutting?
I treated it like I was giving myself advice when I got started. I had experienced guys around me that had power tools and I had no money getting started, so the first 2 tools I bought were a hammer and a pry bar. Not much but it got me started. Thanks for watching the video, let me know what you think should be in the next $100 episode
@@SledgeInOffice I think if you have a $100 budget you need to clarify goals and focus on HF, Amazon, Temu, and so on. $100 will get you a long way on any of those in terms of basics. If you were working on cars you could get all your basic socket needs met with less than half of that. Temu is hit or miss but has some gems. I also really don't think you can purchase anything that doesn't have more than one use. Circular saw and impact driver should also be high on the list and you can do either for under $40, $100 can go a long way if used as a stepping stone. I have some very cheap starter tools I intended to replace after they broke and here I am with them 15 years later.
Ehhh you can find all that on clearance usually. Or just go to harbor freight. If you buy cheap you may as well buy cheap.
What drill and impact set would you recommend for a New starter to the handyman world nice video.
Ryobi is really good value beginner set that will hold up until you can afford a higher end hammer drill/impact
@mrmstrinivlog We will have that video posted in the next couple weeks!! Do you have a tool brand you like? I appreciate you watching our video
Tbh just save and get Dewalt, you will have the power tools for a long long time, compared to buying twice and changing platforms.
Is this door a Western unit?
Yes sir, we used to call them doors built in the "Wild Wild West" because we were asked by our employer to leave the brand names out.
Excellent
Thanks for watching our video!! If you have a project you have any questions on feel free to send it our way
Ok then thank you. I have a set of kawneer doors and the vinyl peice doesn't come off the stops so I can perform the adjustment in the video. Is this door trash?
@@pennydink72 can you send pictures of the door to me so I can see what you are looking at?

Question for the phone call member, does this technology prolong the system/s lifetime or just added technology for quick return or progress but not overall vehicle operation without failure?

In comment to Christmas trees and the debate between real and artificial. I have no option either way but I can't wait for the future product that is a black box and it can project a Varity of hologram trees with decorations.😀
I don’t know if I’m ready for the hologram trees but if someone does it I would love to check it out
Good video, sound of echo & background noise to be edited.
So what do you do when it is an older for and the rollers don't just pop out?
Deborah Brewer it depends on the door that you are working on. Some doors will have screws underneath the panel that you can remove, others you have to remove the styles(vertical pieces), and some you have to remove the rails(the bottom piece). If you would like send me a message with some pictures on Instagram or Facebook and I would be happy to try and give you some help Instagram: Sledge_In_Office Facebook: Thaddeus Klaus
