You might find that comments weird and I'm not sure if I should published it but... some could point out the big contrast between Lex with you versus DJK and his son but personally I only think that Lex is the way he is (outside of the tiredness ) and I can relate to that because I was a bit of a special kid back then (and I still have some struggle sometimes nowadays ) , I hope you won't be offended or find my comments misjudging about Lex, if it's the case I'm very very sorry and you can delete my comments.

well that's a haul of variety, I like that, that JH4 set is decent but it's not a Homerun like JH3 (which I have the carded full set of + one extra loose )

My Favorite here is Aston Martin. I like how detailed it is. But all of those are nice. I will probably buy Japanese set. Of course if I will see it in shops I'm visiting. Which isn't guaranteed. But I don't like this "dot" printing at all. Rear lights can be fixed easily with very little effort. But badges are much harder to fix. It's a shame HW is decades behind other manufacturers in this category.

I love Schuco Merc. Great details, like those wheels, make this casting special. It's a treat for my eyes. I must look for regular one.

In Europe it's somehow different because our cars are smaller. So it's easier to see. And then there are lines painted on STOP too. So it both car stops at line you have better chance to see traffic. Of course there are people who won't stop there and will block your view. But sometimes person in other car will "wave" if you can go because there is no traffic. All kind of good and bad behavior. It's better in place where I live than in Dublin where I'm working. Because I'm living in rural area 40 miles from Dublin people are nicer and more laid back. In Dublin almost everyone is in a hurry. But roads are not prepared for so many cars. As for manners - recently elderly lady 70-80ish years old did not yield to me and she just ignored STOP forcing me to very sharp breaking. Then she showed me middle finger. I wasn't even angry. I started laughing. It was so surreal I couldn't resist.

Sounds like a dick to me. It's even tough to deal with fools like that while you're walking or riding your bike, let alone driving. This problem is nationwide. Here down south it's the same thing: tailgating, cutoffs, no signals, you name it. Don't even get me started with the drunks. Then the "offenders" are the first ones to cuss you out and/or give you the finger. So much for Southern hospitality...

We have cane toads here in Queensland that were introduced to eat the cane beetle. What they didn't realise (I don't know how they didn't) is that the cane toad doesn't climb up the cane, and the beetle would just walk out of their reach. The toad has devastated our native fish species. They are ugly, disgusting, lazy putride and poisonous animals...but as you said, it's not their fault. Most people show them zero mercy.

I got this Kurtis and Mitsubishi 3000GT some time ago. Together with Matchbox Premium 3000GT in yellow. And IMHO price difference between those 2 Mitsubishis is too big. Premium one is too expensive. Ok tires are rubber but other difference is 1 sticker as a registration plate. And it made model 4 times more expensive. I have Para64 3000GT. It was discounted so I bought it cheaper than Matchbox Premium. I love Matchbox "Models of Yesterday" and LLedo. They're great and not too expensive. Especially if you'll find some promotional ones. Here usually they are packed in cheaper boxes. No screws. Of course there are more rare and posh examples too. But there are plenty of those cheap ones. Second hand ones you can buy for the price of regular mainline Matchbox. Fiat and Porsche are 🤩
