13. War and Peace Are Represented Look at the eagle on the back of your $1 bill. The arrows in the eagle’s left talon represent war and the olive branch in the proud bird’s right talon represents peace, according to the State Department. 14. The Latin Around the Pyramid Speaks To American Exceptionalism “Annuit Coeptis,” which is written above the pyramid, means “Providence Has Favored Our Undertakings.” Below the pyramid, the words “Novus ordo seclorum” mean “A New Order of the Ages,” which refers to the United States’ historic form of government 15. ‘13’ Is Everywhere Check out the arrows in the eagle’s left talon: There are 13 of them. MDCCLXXVI Is the Symbol for 1776 At the base of the pyramid on the back of every dollar bill are the Roman numerals MDCCLXXVI. That is the symbol for 1776, which is the date of the Declaration of Independence. After great trouble for humanity, a greater one is prepared The Great Mover renews the ages: Rain, blood, milk, famine, steel and plague, Is the heavens fire seen, a long spark running. -Nostradamus Born in the shadows and during a dark day, He will be sovereign in realm and goodness: He will cause his blood to rise again in the ancient urn, Renewing the age of gold for that of brass. -Nostradamus Balance and age of Aquarius The chief of the army in the middle of the crowd Will be wounded by an arrow shot in the thighs, When Geneva in tears and distress Will be betrayed by Lausanne and the Swiss. -Nostradamus The last one honored amongst the Gauls, Over the enemy man will he be victorious: Force and land in a moment explored, When the envious one will die from an arrow shot. -Nostradamus Foists and galleys around seven ships, a mortal war will be let loose. How often will you be captured, O city of the sun ? Changing laws that are barbaric and vain. Bad times approach you. No longer will you be enslaved. Great Hadrie will revive your veins. -Nostradamus Reason is only too evident. Everything is predicted by divine afflatus (10) and thanks to an angelic spirit inspiring the one prophesying, consecrating his predictions through divine unction. It also divests him of all fantasies by means of various nocturnal apparitions, while with daily certainty he prophesies through the science of astronomy, with the aid of sacred prophecy, his only consideration being his courage in freedom. So come, my son, strive to understand what I have found out through my calculations which accord with revealed inspiration, because now the sword of death approaches us, with pestilence and war more horrible than there has ever been - because of three men's work - and famine. And this sword shall smite the earth and return to it often, for the stars confirm this upheaval and it is also written: I shall punish their injustices with iron rods, and shall strike them with blows. For God's mercy will be poured forth only for a certain time, my son, until the majority of my prophecies are fulfilled and this fulfillment (sic) is complete. Then several times in the course of the doleful tempests the Lord shall say: Therefore I shall crush and destroy and show no mercy; and many other circumstances shall result from floods and continual rain (11) of which I have written more fully in my other prophecies, composed at some length, not in a chronological sequence, in prose, limiting the places and times and exact dates so that future generations will see, while experiencing these inevitable events, how I have listed others in clearer language, so that despite their obscurities these things shall be understood: When the time comes for the removal of ignorance, the matter will be clearer still. So in conclusion, my son, take this gift from your father M. Nostradamus, who hopes you will understand each prophecy in every quatrain herein. May Immortal God grant you a long life of good and prosperous happiness. Salon, 1 March 1555 The Italian lands near the mountains will tremble. The Cock and the Lion not strongly united. In place of fear they will help each other. Freedom alone moderates the French. -Nostradamus To the Spains will come a very powerful King, By land and sea subjugating the South: This evil will cause, lowering again the crescent, Clipping the wings of those of Friday. -Nostradamus Friday all day vets wings like angels

Che brutta fine che ha fatto l'Italia...
Praise to be to the God of the Gods! Jupiter is supreme!
Olim Roma erat mirabilis. Hodie, non tantum., :(
Great video. Hope you can add the Palantine Hill to it
The most beautiful city ever built in the history of man. If only it had remained as pristine as it once stood. Nobody did fine architecture better than the Romans, Greeks, and the French.
Please make an Assassin's Creed type video game out of this
Can any viewer of this video introduce us to a decision maker at Ubisoft?
😍
Finally!!! Thank you, Bernard!!
Ancient Rome has given the world so many great inventions.
6:46 It's so interesting how the modern city still has a similar shape to the ancient one! In the center, the building is gone but it's outline remains in the trees.
Ancient Greece is so amazing..oops sorry I meant Rome
❤👍
The glory of the Roman empire.. spectacularly
Were these buildings constructed of concrete, such that the Pantheon was? Or are they constructed from stone, sandstone or marble? I am wondering why the buildings are white. If they had terracotta rooves, surely they also used bricks?
Most buildings in ancient Rome in our period (320 CE) were constructed in opus caementicium with brick facing textured with white stucco.
Thank you for such an awesome experience.
thank you for making our day!
Look at this glorious beauty, everything that was lost, now only ruins remain, it's depressing when you think about it, but anyway... we need the Assassin's Creed video game set in Ancient Rome as soon as possible.
Thank you for your kind words. We are more than willing to cooperate with Ubisoft on an edition of Assassin's Creed set in ancient Rome!
Export this to VR headsets, please
We plan to do so in March 2024! Stay tuned....

Flyover Zone hopes Ubisoft will contact us. We are ready to license our model to a game company!
@@Frischer1949Wow it would be amazing, how many people worked on these?
What you see is the result of a twenty-seven year project. We don't have an exact count of all the people who contributed in various ways, but our estimate is about 50.
Great! Now Constantinople please!
Was this statue a copy of the temple of Zeus at Olympia?
Good question! It is hard to give a precise answer, since neither statue survives, and reconstructing both in detail (and it is the details that matter in deciding this issue) is difficult to do on the basis of the evidence we happen to have. No ancient writer discusses this issue. Among modern scholars, Caterina Maderna thinks that Jupiter Optimus Maximus (JOM) on the Capitoline was inspired by Phidias' Zeus in Olympia, but the influence was indirect, and so we should not consider JOM to be a copy (*Iuppiter, Diomedes und Merkur als Vorbilder fuer roemische Bildnisstatuen* [1988] 28).
This is an absolutely outstanding recreation, probably the best I've seen. Well done. I particularly appreciate that there was no cheesy music.

No invading gauls to fight? A travesty
C'est un très beau travail de reconstitution 3D, bravo !

They need to make Total War: Rome III and use this!! Would be amazing!
This is what happens to your empire when corrupt leaders steal from the people and let in unskilled barbarians. Sounds familiar.
If preindustrial societies could build like this what excuse do modern societies have?
slaves
We don't have an excuse. Our cities are awful and dystopian. We could build better and grander since we have better materials and more advanced technology but we don't. We renounced to fill the cities with art and beautiful buildings.
They painted the column bases red, I believe.
You are right that they did paint some of the lower parts of the column shafts red, but not all and not when the fluting extended all the way down the shaft.
Only problem is i dont think the streets of rome were that clean
The Greatness of Rome!
Maybe set it to some epic music evoking the grandeur of the Eternal City?
Yes, you are right. A wonderful Swedish composed named Bo H. Tidelius has volunteered to write such music. We have done one short test video, which you can watch here: ua-cam.com/video/RpCgz-peV_Y/v-deo.htmlsi=E8D2sUaTOgr86FV5 Please let me know what you think!
When I become Supreme Emperor of America we will build this in Washington DC
Next best thing to time travelling, amazing video! Incredible.
Glad you enjoyed it!
And those women wonder why someone think abot Rome?
Haha! I've been thinking about nothing else for the 27 years it has taken to make this version (probably my last) of the urban model of ancient Rome! 🤣

Could this be done for VR headsets where you could walk around street level? Maybe even make it a game where you look for Roman coins and when you find them all you might have a chance to meet Cleopatra? Or is there such a game or tour already?
We do have a number of tours of ancient Rome set at ground level: "Rome Reborn: Baths of Caracalla," "Rome Reborn: Basilica of Maxentius," "Rome Reborn: Pantheon," and "Rome Reborn: Roman Forum." We have others planned. In the first quarter of 2024, for example, we will be publishing "Rome Reborn: Colosseum District." Meanwhile, we have lots of other virtual tours set at ground level on Yorescape. These include the Acropolis in Athens and the pyramids and sphinx of the Giza plateau. You can try out Yorescape with a free, one-week trial subscription by following this link: yorescape.page.link/rome Yorescape runs on smartphones and tablets (iOS/Android) as well as PCs (Mac/Windows).
