12:30 your blinker is on
@@mitchelljohn3981 I promise you that my blinker will always be on! The most useless thing on my bikes are blinkers
I need to watch this when I get home, my bike leaks and burns oil bad. Do you know of a rebuild kit?
@@zinnzeal360 I don’t know of a rebuild kit, you might be able to buy a good used engine. I have noticed it’s really hard to find parts for there bikes
@@OlsonsGarage yeah it kinda sucks bc I really like it
i use to love going to silver lake. unfortunately its small but the sand is great
I’m with you! It’s a ton of fun! It is kinda small!
Question where are u findin ur parts at.. i have a 84 and i cant find hardly anything i need? I wnat to change the exhaust majorily but when u changed urs did u have to re-jet? Some folks tell me yes some say no
That’s my most asked question and unfortunately there arnt a lot of places you can find new parts. A lot of the parts I’ve put on the bike have been used or “universal parts”. As far as jetting goes, it seems fine, I’m gonna wait till I put on my new slip on and get some new spark plugs and recheck everything! I’ll make a video about it when I do!
i love this man!
Thanks!
banshee sounds clean🔥
@@PraizeFN2024 thanks! Stay tuned! We took it to the sand dunes too!
@@OlsonsGarage nice🔥
I have a few V4 Hondas. I changed the boat sound by drilling six 1/2 inch holes in the end baffle. Sounded a lot better but I ended up taking all the baffles out but the one farthest in. Sounds amazing now
Nice!! I was gonna do that, then I found the 4 into 1!
I ride an 84 V30 and its just as quick , maybe faster ..then there's the death wobble at about 150.haha woooo , keep the rubber on the road!!... still, A huge thanks to others posting practical how to's!! ...
You're absolutely right about those handlebars. The cruising market has some of the worst handle bar designs ever invented. Which ironic, as you're suppose to be able to cruise, which I guess doesn't mean tour, but look cool at all cost. It was the worst idea the Japs ever stole form the HD crowd...😂 😂 Many sport bikes are more comfortable to ride than "cruisers." p.s. I thought all Magna's had square head lights?
I agree with you so much! My 01 CBR Fireblade is more comfortable to ride than the Magna with the factory bars! As far as the headlight go, the 82 and 83 had round headlights and the 84to 86 had rectangle! Most 84 to 86 or 87 were 700cc and not 750 because of import tariffs
@@OlsonsGarage ah, I know of several '83's with the square headlight...pretty sure (?).
Oh I was pretty sure I may be wrong!
Can you make Honda magna look like clyb style (dyna) ??
@@MohammedAlhourani-d5u I’m trying to kinda, I’m trying to make it look like a stunt dyna
Man I believe this bike if you add a high rear suspension, window bar , dyna rear fender, Fairing club style (the high one) and the gas tank which is the problem
Will look super nice club style bike with the smallest Bagot of money
Suspension is next and I want to find a rear fender too and cut it high! It will look sweet when it done!
@@OlsonsGarage I'm waiting to see the results, i think magna will be my first cruiser bike cuz I can't offer a Dyna it's expensive in Europe (Harley Davidson) in general, so good luck man🍻
V45...thought it was a V65
Yep a v45! Maybe one day I’ll get a 65
@@OlsonsGarage my project is 83 VF1100C V65
@@allanmcelroy9840 nice!
Wow, they really do sound alike. Was that burnout really that easy?
Yes! I did have the bike pushing against the back of the garage but the Magna loves burnouts!
@@OlsonsGarage ah, so not using the front brake
@@allanmcelroy9840 not that time, I have other times tho!
Have you ever ridden v65 Magna? I wonder if there is a big difference between v45 and v65. Specification table numbers suggest not such a big difference...
I haven’t ridden a v65 Magna but what I have heard is that they are as fast or faster then some 600cc bikes. V65 has an 1100 cc v4 making 120 hp but I think the bike is 550 or 600 lbs. I would like to get my hands one one someday!
where did you get the 4 to 1
I found it on market place! A lot of Magna parts bikes out there
For paper gaskets I'm going with permatex aviation gasket sealant. Great video.
Good to know! Thank you!
HONDAVIDSON DYNAMAG!
Woo!!
hell yeah this is sick! i just got a 94 virago i wanna chop
Do it! That will be awesome! Thanks for watching! More coming soon!
Very Cool. I am not riding the Honda V45 anymore until I rebuild the clutch and new seals for front tubes.
I get that! In part 2 I replace the clutch on this bike! I got the clutch from Barnetts clutches, it works awesome!
@@OlsonsGarage I am looking at Barnett's also. A little pricey to replace everything but that's what I'm going to do. Looking forward to part 2.
Yes kinda pricey but it’s worth it! Great grab already!
I was literally just thinking i hope he uploads this one soon.
I’ve got a bunch more coming out soon!
@@OlsonsGarage yay!
With as much weight as you ended up using i would have personally broke the bead and spin the tire on the rim 180 degrees. With how expensive those road 6's are you would at least think they would have marked the tire for us all.
Right!, why isn’t there a mark? I was honestly surprised by how much it took! The road 6’s are soo worth it tho! Great in the rain and cold! Worth the money in that way!
@@OlsonsGarage they are all I use now on my street bikes including my cbr 600 I've ran them for 20k miles between both my bikes and have 0 complaints with them. They last a lot longer and still grip really well in the corners when pushing hard.
That’s great to know, this is my first set! Thanks for sharing your experiances
We suck so well!
We didn’t crash! 😂
@@OlsonsGarage that's very true! That means I gotta send it harder
If you need autoset you have no business welding
It’s a nice reference
My buddy bought a VMax in Tulsa with a Kerker 4 into 1. He lost the muffler on his way back to Arkansas. It sounded so good he never bothered finding a new one. It sounded like an early F1 car!
That’s awesome! They do sounds amazing!!
As mechanic for over 35 years number one upgrade is oil kit to get filtered oil to cams. Oil comes from transmission and wears out camshafts prematurely.
Will do I’ll look into it! Thank you!
We can't see the welds you need to watch your videos before posting
Great idea!
Still my favorite place to ride!
I agree! It’s super fun!
Very good and thorough review!
Thank you!! I did a lot of research before I made the purchase and thought I would share it with y’all! Thanks for watching!
Too bad we didn’t capture my wheelie on camera
I know:( the camera was off I think
Did you fab the exhaust yourself? Buy it from somewhere? I have a 3rd gen Magna and want to do a 4 into 1 as well
I bought it from a guy parting out an 83 v45, it’s I’ve been finding it’s really hard to find parts for these bikes. I’ll keep an eye out if I find any for a 3rd gen!
@@OlsonsGarageappreciate it. Even a 4-2 would work but the only non discontinued exhaust is a cobra slash cut that sounds like ass lol. eBay notifications are on 🤘🏼
Bro you're 40 years late.
Sadly you are right! It’s hard finding parts for this thing! But I found a clutch!
@@OlsonsGarage i have two v65 videos on UA-cam. Custom magna burnout and v65 Sabre burnout. Please go watch them. I restored both of those bikes in 2005
@@OlsonsGarage also i did a stock exhaust vs Kerker exhaust comparison on a bike dyno. The stock pipes make more power than a Kerker. Stock was 118.3. Kerker was 106.1. Both on the Sabre motor.
@@OlsonsGarage Currently i am playing with first gen vmax bikes
@@mikepierce4739 really? The stock made more power! The kerker was a 4 into 1?
Hi, In Tig aluminum is 225 AMP is the max?
Yes! 225 max And 20amp min!
Красиво только это глупо и опасно
Yes
Yeah, that sounds great. I REALLY like how the 1st gens sound in general.
Me too! I’m going to have a video coming out soon where I finish the exhaust system! It sounds really good!
Perhaps JB Weld might work better than Crazy Glue.
Maybe! It’s still pretty stiff!
You want to sell that one thing over there?
No
have you noticed any differences in power since you put the 4 into 1 exhaust on? i’ve seen some forums that say you’ll need to re-jet it when you go 4 into 1 exhaust. i’m only asking because i just recently bought a MAC 4 into 1 and want to know if i need to mess with the carbs at all before installing it?
I haven’t noticed much with power, it dose idle higher now when it’s warm. Also I did notice my clutch starting to slip pretty good. I need to put some new spark plugs in and check them to see how rich or lean I am. Upon inspecting the spark plugs recently they look fine not that I’m super lean! I’ll have a video showing what I find as far as tuning goes. I need to install a better slip on and complete the 4 into 1
What size of bottle?
They are both 80 cubic feet I think
The owners manual of my 1986 Magna V45 says it has a second smaller drain plug on the bottom side of the front cylinder bank. Does your bike have it? If it does I highly recommend you drain the oil that collects in there. It’s actually a good amount of oil that comes out. Cool video man. 👍
Wow I’ll be honest I don’t know! I’ll have to look next time! Thanks for the advice!
@@OlsonsGarage no problem buddy. The drain plug looks like a regular thin bolt. It’s right in the center on a little hump on the bottom of the front cylinder bank right down the middle of it.
Awesome to see someone enjoying a Magna
I love the Magna so much fun to ride!
This was a great video. Have a 1985 Suzuki Madura, 700cc V4. These bikes are fast and comfortable and look good. High center of gravity leaves a lot to be desired. Sounds awesome too
Thank you! Yes cool and fast but handle like a skateboard with a brigs bolted to it
Why?
@@Xpunkpro Doesn't corner very well. Also if you mess up low speed in a parking lot, if it's going down there's no stopping it.
Hand work wonders
Oh yeah!!

Thank you!
Actually.... ...mechanics have lot of toxins embedded in their hands which has been directly linked to cervical cancers and other cancers of girly parts. Even if you do not touch those girly parts, you did empty your bladder many times during the day, which leaves these toxins on your man parts which then are inserted into the girly parts. Sad, but true. And no, your doctor will not tell you this. Not just mechanics either. So gentlemen, at least consider where your hands have been before they go 'there'.
None of this is true😂😂
😂

Exactly!
Because mechanic could screw her anytime anytime and even twice if she wants sometimes.

And when the mechanic was done he looked at the fine lady and said I took care of you nicely do you wanna screw? and then open his hand. And then proceeded to tell her, if your car smokes after this it's only because the work was that good!
