Dyracuse is one of my favorite places to ride but I have never ridden any of the single track there! Until today we rode the North West side of Dyracuse. Hot Lapping The KX125 With The Rebuilt Suspension! ($500 KX125 part 6!)

KX125 suspension rebuilt= Check. Sick new backyard track= Check. A sunny day= check! I got to test out the new suspension on the KX125 and the sweet new track me made a couple weeks ago! The bike still needs some carb tuning but its all starting to come together with this bike! First Ride at Valley MX!

This was my first ride at Valley MX track! I had a great time! i met up with my brother and we rode his KDX200 and my KX250 and the $500 KX125 that we are building on the channel. the 125 didn't do to bad but was falling on its face a lot and I'm not really the best rider! thanks for watching! there will be more to come!

For real! I love the smaller air cooled bikes! I would love to get one and ride it!
Its a over rated dust bowl. You can cover it from entrance to exit in 5 to 10 minute's. Traffic is insane from Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day weekend. July 4th holiday is the worst.
@@jeffdavison8421 it was a lot of fun! But I don’t think I would drive more than 8 hours to get there. We did silver lake for 2 days then went to ride Cheboygan mi trails! Those are fun! I agree tho! It’s hectic!
@OlsonsGarage I've rode there a few times. Id never go back. The trail system here in Michigan is a much better option. Best of luck to you Sir.

Step one you need to lean back on a 8 paddle. Step 2 don’t get a 10 paddle ever! Step 3 lean back and use throttle

Awesome camera angle. I felt like I was riding that thing. I had a 2001 KX125 in the early/mid 2000’s. The handful of times you hit the power band in your video it brought back memories of being on that bike and pinning it. Rapping out a 2-stroke machine and sending it is an awesome feeling and fun times.

@@jeffgibbons-e9z yes it may have just been the mic on my phone but it seamed on the drive back home all the noise went away and it’s been perfect ever since!
@@OlsonsGarage nice! That’s good to hear. I’d like to not hate my truck anymore and get this vibration resolved! The adapter between the trans and transfer case.. does that bolt on from inside the transmission? The one you had said was cracked?
@ no, the adapter can can be unbolted after the t case is removed. There are 6 bolts in there. I would recomend using some rtv sealant on the adapter to trans. Along with the adapter to t case! Did you pop that top plug out and see if your bearing had movement?
@ I have not but I’m sure it does. It feels like it’s right below me and I thought it may be the mount for a while but this fits the description.

I need some good shots of that exhaust close up and possibly some measurements. I can't believe you said you overpaid for all that because you definitely didn't that's prob $600 worth of exhaust just in the design alone lol not to mention you can never have too many extra parts
I’ll see what I can do, I’m going to need to take the exhaust off again because I scratched it a while ago. I’ll make a video soon about how to make your own 4 into 1 for the Magna and I share lengths and sizes

Thank you! I was spinning the drive sprocket on the other side. In my next video I’ll explain in more depth what I’m doing!

Should I get rid of my 2007 r6 and get this instead?
If you want a wider spread of power and more torque everywhere, then yes! If you like ringing the r6 to 16,000 rpm and like the top end rush, then no. I would bet the 929 would be more comfortable too! Up to you! Ride safe!

@@Bags609 awesome! Glad to hear it! Be sure to align the forks in the triple clamps properly too! I had it on my bike where the forks would bind and wouldn’t slide the whole way
Wow!!! First time seeing your video and noticing my feature! I really appreciate it! The bike sounds wayyy better! Really wish I would have did the black. I was thinking of wrapping the headers too.. She's been sitting this season due to a cam that needs replaced. I rode it too hard with my street bike buddies and she didn't like it, I have a video on my channel of me ripping through twisties with R1's and stuff, it's wild!.. Super glad too see others are finding inspiration from my build! I got many pointers from the legendary and late Dave Dodge, rest his soul.. Also, I did do a re-jet of the carbs, which is pretty important if you are opening up the exhaust with a 4 into 1. That also contributes to the better noise on mine, along with the Kerker muffler.

At 37k miles hows your valve clearance, have you done changing the shims or the timing chain?
The clearance was good the chain is great! No noise!

Was your 4x4 shifter shaking really bad when you could hear the vibration?
It wasn’t shaking to bad but the noise was really loud!
If I look down at my 4x4 shifter it’s shaking pretty bad and if I hold it from shaking the vibration lessens so it must be similar to your problem, I’m going to get a rebuilt and hopefully that fixes it, thanks for the video.
Okay make sure your driveshaft isn’t messed up! I had mine balanced it was like $100

I've heard 929 have gearbox issues unlike the other blades.. Any truth?
@@stefan-stocksmadesimple5241 i haven’t had any issues on this bike but I have heard that 2nd and 4th gear can have issues! This bike has 37,700 miles on it so it could have just been some bikes?

Oh man! In 98 or 99 I bought a CBR F3, and as soon as the F4i came out I ran to the dealership to get on! The red and black version but I’ve always! Wanted a 929 :) Especially the Respsol paint scheme. You have a super awesome bike! I currently have a 2024 ZX-10R, but my heart is still in the F4i. Nice video!

@@erick1313ify how much is he selling it for? I wouldn’t recomend this as a first bike or even a second bike, it would be a great 3rd bike! It’s kinda a lot to handle power wise!

@@erick1313ify that’s not a bad deal. I feel little better about you getting it, I would take it very slow and feel the bike out! If you wack the throttle it will pull the tire up quick! It’s a fast and nimble bike. If you are easy with it you will be fine. When you get comfortable it’s going to be awesome! Where is the bike located?

V65 magna is I think the best overall bike. If you can get a good one, and completely maintain it, then you've got an absolute beast.

@@baucelabs1159 with the old tip it had a lot of back pressure. I put a new tip on and it sounds a lot better and pulls hard!

I have the same bike. I'm having difficulty with my shifter shaft seal. I love the 84 vf700c.
So I watched both your first test video and this one... and the one thing that struck me as funny was watching you sit down while stick/mig welding but stand up and tig weld when first starting out. Not saying you can't but your a lot more stable to get in a nice seated position, brace your arms off your table/work piece and be super stable. However, you were learning a new skill on a new machine so keep on learning and having fun!
@@coryjohnson2314 yes that was my first time tig welding and I had a hard time getting comfortable. Since this video I have sat down and it has been much easier! Thanks for watching! I’ll have a year review on the welder coming up soon! It’s been great so far!

At 4 mins, what are you moving? I think you said shaft play?
Yes so there is a bearing in there that wears out when the slip yoke get stuck and the bearing is then pushed into the case and wrecks the shaft play and caused the vibration!
@@OlsonsGarage what does the slip yoke get stuck on? The rear output bushing?
@@codytolman1982 in the rust belt the yoke can seize onto the output shaft. Most of the time that’s the issue!
