Been trying to find this video for a hot minute! Just for the shorty kraken. Honestly was almost thinking I misremembered this as some sort of super lucid fever dream..... But because of this video, I got a set of blem speed channeled Kraken handles to pair with a bowie bladed kraken i had laying around. Went ahead and cut the handles down to even a bit shorter than your set up(so no "tails" and flush with the top of the 3rd/lowest hole on the handles). Damn what a kracked kraken! So nimble and balanced. Kinda feels like a naut and a kraken had a baby. Out of the 9 or so I've had/have this thing is probably my favorite. I never realized the kraken was so "sluggish" until I tried this mod. And tbh/fair the kraken really isn't sluggish at all... I dunno if I can ever go back my dude. You've ruined me! 😂❤😂

They all need to be oiled! Get some benchmade blue or some carbon honey my dude lol. They will all sound and feel better. Nami specifically needs oil. It feels so so different with it turns into a buttery smooth flowing monster.

I prefer the nami trainer balance so so much more. Also the new namis are also using ti zen pins now just like the madko so thats cool. I feel the handle bias on the madko way to much. But where the true perfection is at is with the live nami. Also nami has gotten way more love this past year. Ive got group chats with hundreds of people and everyone loves them now. The biggest issue was the variance with squid. Some felr good soem felt bad some sounded good some sounded bad. These new prods are finally much more consistent. Also please guys if yoy buy a nami assk the person if thwy tuned it or not. So many cant tune a nami and make it so much worse feeling snd sounding then when it comrs from squid. If you have an issue send it to squid bevause even lucas doesnt want people to tune them its why he offers free lifetime warranties because people really mess them up.

Cool comparison and mesmerizing flips! Madko has made me a better flipper. It feels aggressive where the kraken feels more tame in that you have to make it do things while the madko kind o just does things. Weird to explain but with choker fans I could only struggle to get a 2 rotation just learning it with the kraken but the day I got the madko I was effortlessly getting 3.
