The vision of Alabama Governor Bob Riley, the RTP is a collaboration between the state of Alabama, Calhoun Community College, AIDT, and robotics industry leaders across the nation. The RTP consist of three individual training facilities, each targeted to a specific industry need. The three buildings have an investment of approximately $73 million, including robotics equipment.

It's a good job if you have felonies or a high school drop out.. thats about it!! been ship fitting for 10 years and i hate it!!! just doing it for the money and it aint that great! last year i made 90k damn working 6 days a week all year! my wife she took a 9 month IT course and now makes 130k a year STARTING, even payed her 20k to relocate!! My shipyard job im just a number to HR lol

Im doing exactly the same job this guy is doing in the shop at my local shipyard.. for those wondering how to get in.. just contact recruiting agencies for the shipyards PDS, Trade team, Tradesmen, NSC and many more and you can pretty much get in a ship yard with no experience! i been working 7 days a week taking home $1900 a week and learning on the job.. we didnt get a class we learned to torch, weld and make parts on the job
that's the only way you make decent money is contracting, but then you're not getting any good benefits!
