So glad I found this video. I was wondering if there was a easier way to line everything up when putting it back together. I never thought of taking the control bracket off too. My choke has been hanging off. It sometimes binds up. It needs some type of lubricant on the spring on top I'm guessing.

Love the video! I have the older one, with the metal air deflector but the choke control is up in the handle with the throttle. My question is I can't find a schematic for that old of an engine. It is a GCV160 but starts the other number with GJAEA...How can I find the correct resources and the true age of the motor since I have misplaced my paperwork?

Nice to be able to show a coupler that you can adjust. Would be nice if somebody would do a video on one you can't adjust. We all know how to adjust this one.

I'm wondering if you could help me out. I bought a Honda gx630 at an auction. And it has four tubes coming off of it. One is for the gas intake. One is to drain the oil. I think one is to drain the carburetor. But there's a fourth tube and I have no idea what it is. Any chance you know what it is?

Don't use Vaseline on gaskets ! Non petroleum base grease only.

Mowing my yard....the mower quit. I was looking at between 200-650 to fix/replace the mower. This was the most in depth demonstration of how to do this I was able to find. I watched this video several times and kept chopping wood so to speak. Thanks to you and this video I was able to trace the multiple issues and fixed them. It is now up and running and my yard is mowed! Thank you.

hey I wanted to email this question , not sure if you'll get it or not but My 530 carb has a silenoid at the bottom bowl and a vinyl hose coming out that flops around and burned up , but it squirt gas randomly , I wasn't sure where it connects to or why it exist

I am planning to clean my carb as I thought the surging when hot was the cause, but now I will replace the auto choke and thermowax also as this seems like it could also be the cause. I got this HRX2174HYA used for $30 and trying to get it running like new again. The self propel doesn't work much at all even after adjusting the drive control cable per service manual. It moves forward slower than it should and there is what sounds like a lot of belt slipping noise and hesitation slipping feel to it. Will a belt replacement fix this?

You didn't mention whether or not the new rings come pre-gapped or whether they need to be gapped, and how to gap them???
