I’m new to this channel, if I understood correctly, asyfds777jajioo365au☢️ uqu600au1iauu800🔅?
did you get the scholarship?
h u h . . . ?
Man, I’ve been getting notifications for this video for the last five days, why?
9:10 shouldn't they also be able to speak English post-Vatican II 😂
guys i think babelingua got lobotomy
Take a shot everytime they say "ʔələwəqjəm"
This must be a new language he's working on..
Holy shit I just realised this doesn’t have thousands of views, this is a beautiful video I’m sending it to everyone I love
so "mwa" means "squid person", "we" means "mountain" and "ngu" mean either "to shine" or "this one"?
mʷæ ŋu
Fun fact: ngu means stupid in Vietnamese
what the fuck have I stumbled into?!
we gubeee!!!! :D
as an angel i am extremely offended that i am physically unable to speak this language
wtf is this character arc, i remember watching ur conlang videos thinking "damn this channel is cool" and now its wawa uku nge papaka i mean im not complaining tho
i think the content improved since this began
mwa we | (greeting perhaps) jedune ngu. mwa we | near bad. mwa we | bad to meet you. (greeting) jegube ngu. mwa kawagube. dudu ge gube? | near good. hat mwa. you(dubious) on/above name(dubious) | nice to meet you. I am hat mwa. what is your name? mwa jedune. dudu jedune. giwe wa ti ngu? | bad mwa. bad you. what far and near? | I am bad mwa. I dislike you/you are bad. what is far and near? swi wa ti ngu, we wa ti ngu, jawa wa ti ngu. giwe wa ti ngu? | sky far and near, ground far and near, water far and near. what far and near? | sky is far and near, etc... what is far and near/what did you mean? def | death(dubious) giwe? | what? def wa ti ngu | death near and far | death is near and far giwe? | what? dudu ngu ti wa. dudu ngu ti wa. | you near and far | you are near and far *chiwas to the edge of the screen* ngu ti wa gube. kapu gube | near and far up/head(by association?). (presumably goodbye) | you are dumb/ignorant (as in you have head but you do not use it). goodbye *chiwas off screen* ugh ngu ti wa gube | ugh dumb? *chiwas up the hill. vid ends* I am assuming "ti" is "and" because in "giwe mwa bodo" "ngutingu" is used to describe mwa closer than the close mwa. It is an only instance of "ti" previously. This of course means "ngu ti ngu" means "close and close" or "closer" "mwa" seems to have more meanings than one. Either taking a role of 1st person pronoun or perhaps being name of a language? That would mean "mwa we" would be "I ground"/"I am here" or "mwa language ground"/"let's speak Mwa here" "gube" has already been used for "hat", thus taking on a meaning of "head" is only natural. "jedune" and "jegube" might be both facial expressions and good-bad descriptors, since mwa might frown when things are bad and mwa might smile when things are good? "ngu" being used in "nice/bad to meet you" phrase could be because of the similar themes of proximity. But keep in mind this is all a speculation. Gud vid. Gud lang
I also had an idea. "ngu" and "wa" could be proximal and distal demonstratives but so far the "near" and "far" seems to work better.
copying your comment with modification to try to understand what these guys are doing :DD (once again speculation) mwa we | mwa ground | how are you? jedune ngu. mwa we | sad here. mwa land. | sad here. how are you? jegube ngu. mwa kawagube. dudu ge gube? | happy here. hat mwa. you(dubious) name(dubious) up/above | happy here. (i am) hat mwa. name up bro. mwa jedune. dudu jedune. giwa/e wa ti ngu? | sad/frown mwa. sad/frown you(dubious). what(dubious) far and near? | (i am) sad mwa. you (are) sad. what is far and near (everywhere)? swi wa ti ngu (chimi chimi chimi labialized palatal fricative x3), we wa ti ngu (chiwa chiwa labialized retroflex click x3), jawa wa ti ngu (fishi fishi epiglottal plosive/tap(?) x3). giwe wa ti ngu? | sky far and near (birds x3), ground far and near (footsteps x3), water far and near (fish x3). what far and near? | sky (is) everywhere, ground (is) everywhere, (and) water (is) everywhere, what('s) everywhere? (as in the answer to the riddle) def | death giwe/a? | what? def. def wa ti ngu | death far and near | death (is) everywhere ... giwe/a? | what? dudu ngu ti wa. dudu ngu ti wa. | you near and far x2 | you (are) everywhere x2 chiwas to the edge of the screen ngu ti wa gube. kapu gube | near and far up/above. [kapu] up/above| everywhere (is) above. bye. [or everywhere is away, go away. even though we know gube is up, it could also mean away] chiwas offscreen a... ngu ti wa gube | oh... near and far up | oh... everywhere (is) above. [or everywhere is away] chiwas up the hill. vid ends I am assuming "ti" is "and," but sometimes and is unmarked. "mwa" will always be untranslated because it could be the creatures or a pronoun referring to them, but it was the first word introduced and must be important. if "giwe" and "giwa" are the same word (as spelt), it means both what and where. ngu ti wa (here and there) and wa ti ngu (there and here) are likely synonyms for everywhere but could be different, as death is wa ti ngu and ngu ti wa is above.
I think wa ti ngu might mean approaching and ngu ti wa leaving
@sinom i'll rewatch videos in the morning to check, but that actually makes sense w/ the unmarked "and" of some other sentences with wa ti ngu meaning far to near, aka approaching :0
Chiwa seems to mean step sound also, not just foot
Also, utterly intractable, I have no idea what's going on anymore
mwa gabagube: wa we? mwa yedune: yedunetiyedunetiyedune... mwa gabagube: ...giwa? mwa yedune: def watingu... mwa gabagube: GIWA???
when he said "**death**" I thought the angry mwa was about to execute the mwa ngu
Brotha is becoming the next Chuchel

Thank you so much for relisting these videos, they are a national treasure.
I have watched all 17 minutes and 28 seconds of content and I didn't understand a single thing
i wonder what watching babelingua while high feels like
i have no clue what this is but i cant stop watching
Hell yes I’m ready for my daily lesson
It feels like cocomelon for aliens and I’m digging the language implications :)
This is too advanced for me to understand
a language in which silly voice is mandatory :D
for some reason i feel like i'm being given a phonics lesson
"I'm down but we good"?
i need more
Oh. He's making a language, and trying to teach us through imagery
I feel like Im going insane man
Did not finish the video, but does the word recluse come from the word kloun?
I'm your little science experiment ;)
I'm slowly becoming fluent in whatever this language is called.
What I interpreted from this: "The Frowning Guy is Above Land (video title) Sky (swi) Land (we) The sky is above land (gube = up) The sky is above land The land is below the sky (dune = down) River river river... (yawo) River. River? Eye, eye (dur) Smile (ye) Leg, leg, leg, leg (chiwa) Tophat (gabagube; lit. hat-top) This guy here Eye, eye, smile Leg, leg, leg, leg Tophat It's a tophat! That guy there (mwa wa) Eye, eye Frown (yedune; lit. "smile-bottom") Leg, leg, leg, leg Frowning guy"
Chiwa Chiwa Chiwa Chiwa.
UA-cam: İ feel confident giving an option to translate to English... Sure.
babel blink twice if you need help
When did you come back?!
I love that frown is "mouth down"
and i think hat is probably something like clothes-up
Is this one big language acquisition experiment?
Conversely, I feel like I'm forgetting how to speak english as I watch this.
when i first saw this video i thought "oh maybe i can learn how to pronounce it! surely it cant be that hard" and then 1:55
