Ive played Yugioh since it first came out, and i still have my old cards. My deck was warrior and beat-down and sometimes Yata-lock (control/burn). I stopped playing in 2009. I played again in 2013 against one of my friends brother and i said im going to kick your ass. Dude beat me so bad in the second turn....i ended up quiting the game. I have never seen the cards in his deck and yhe fact that he was able to special summon so many times to bring out his powerful cards and fill his zone to annihilate me is wild. Im glad they came back with the OG playstyle.

One thing worth noting is that Gottoms can be summoned using three copies of Airbellum, or just three copies of the same tuner, because it doesn't say Non-Tuner in the materials, only that they need to be Earth monsters. I don't know if this ruling still applies today, but I know for sure that it applied during the era that Edison Format emulates. I like teching Gottoms into Karakuri decks for this reason as you can summon and machine dupe Nishipachi or Ninishi and then sync them into Gottoms.

Recently joined your channel for its wonderful content. I've been playing yugioh since it came out. 5ds was my favorite era. I was at one of the largest sneak peeks ever for "The Duelist Genesis." Synchros changed everything in the coolest way possible. I didn't fully appreciate the format back then. But I certainly do now. Segways: One question: X-sabers. Why do they struggle?

I don't play yugioh but I watched a video and looked up this edison format and found your channel and I have to say that you have such a perfect voice and calm tone for ASMR. You should really consider doing some ASMR videos.

Frogs is just like Agent in Tengu Plant. It summons big bodies wit incorporated removal almost every turn.

Very awesome stuff! I never even thought of looking at trends from more competitive players, which made those results really fascinating to me even if they ultimately made sense. I'm curious to see if the top players continue to flock towards frogs or if that's potentially a temporary bump as people test out the Dream Frogs version

Cool video and really well made, however, I think it does not bring up a really important point: dream frogs. Dream frogs just recently got brought to daylight and won at least 2 major irl tournaments, I think a large reaseon the top players decided to load the deck is to see how it performs in a big online tournament (if I missed something feel free to correct me, just trying to be constructive for a better understanding of the format).
