Nah not the antivirus. My dad got us a 3 year avast subscription cuz it was cheap. So i downloaded it on my pc and activated the premium version, and it still fept more like a virus then a antivirus. The only thing it did for me was give popups about their vpn and avast cleanup service. So my recommendation is dont waste your money on a antivirus if you pay attention to what you download. Windows also has a pretty good virus detection thingy. Idk what its called but it scans all your files and takes like 1-3 hours. So i just removed avast after a week or two cuz i hated the popup ads
