I carry 4 on my belt plus the one in the gun. When I’m out in a free state I usually have one in the gun and 2 on my belt with 23s

@@t3xenfury I don’t believe so. Check Obrpc.org there should be a membership email address somewhere. Also you don’t need to be a member of the club to shoot matches.

@@t3xenfury no problem! You don’t need any qualifications or certs to try it. Before signing up for the indoor match you would be required to observe one. All you need to do is show up to a match and watch for about an hour or 2

It was close but not that close to be called a 180 that’s one of the 2 spots that target was available from. If I were to over swing the transition it could’ve easily turned into a 180 break.

I’m assuming you’re referring to stage 1. Where I can see your argument for that. However the rules are very specific about where your muzzle can be pointed. It needs to be with 180 degrees of the fault line. They were standing probably around the 200-220 mark which looks close if I’m taking shots at 160-70 degrees. That being said it is very safe and we do not recommend new people who cannot control their muzzle go that fast also if anyone breaks the 180 they are immediately disqualified and can not shoot any more.

Sorta. If you look after the first mag change I hit the slide release because the mag actually locked back. The plan wasn’t to go to slide lock at all so for the second mag change when the slide didn’t lock back I forgot to rack it before trying to shoot. With practice slide release is fast when you actually get slide lock. With modified mags you don’t get a consistent slide lock.

Go to practiscore.com and check your area for clubs doing USPSA or PCSL matches. Most clubs are very welcoming to new people. Everyone pretty much wants to help. Depending on your state laws 2-3 mags should be enough to just show up and try it out. If you live in a 10rd state bring at least 4

I’m going to try and make a gear video soon but if you search UA-cam for USPSA gear you’ll find a ton of videos. My recommendation is just show up with an owb holster and a cheap double mag pouch or 2 and see if you enjoy it. Then spend money on nicer gear.
