John please don't give up. I feel you, brother I'm in the same fight. It's hard but as long as you don't give up there's hope. Don't give up man.

John, I never thought after 15 years I'd finally stay clean. I've just now been able to be around certain things and it not make me want for more or something else. I never understood or recognized normal or being myself. I thought the climb from the bottom was day by day, getting clean and staying positive. I'm 34 and my rude awakening after sobering up was symptoms of a diagnosis I'd lived but still didn't understand because it was on others terms. I came clean about everything, signed over my right as a father to my soon to be 8 year old daughter still wondering why on a good day I feel the favor I do after all I've done and whom I've wronged. His story really connected with me because it was about what he learned or who he could help from all the bad times. Not about fame or money but just feeling better. It's not easy and sometimes it's awful but keep listening. If it wasn't for these stories I wouldn't be here

@@danmchugh8407 Mr. McHugh -- God bless you for taking the time to line up those links for John Bradley as he called out for help. It took a concerted effort to do that. I say this because doing that is real and loving and caring. And that's how we help and rescue and save each other. One person, one outreach at a time. Addiction is ultimately a condition of secrecy and loneliness. When another person makes a connection, the addict is shown that another person cares and is inviting him to join in a world of authenticity and connection. Mr. Bradley -- if you continuing to struggle, hang in there. Just hang in there. I know that's easy to say but not easy to do. While it's not easy, it is straightforward. If you can endure you have a chance. As do your sons and every other person who loves you. Their chance to love you.
