You looking at a rebuilt 1972 Yamaha XS2 XS650. This was a frame off rebuild. The frame was repainted alongside all the tins. The engine was rebuilt, valve job and seals replaced, cylinder honed and new rings installed, cam chain replaced with cam chain guide was also replaced. All the parts listed below were replaced or rebuilt. The tank was coated with Caswell gas tank epoxy. The headers and mufflers were replaced. This year is getting very hard to find in this condition. Fork tubes were replaced with new seals. All cables were replaced. The list is very long. Frame and engine numbers match. The bike runs and shifts great.
