My family & myself quite often look at St. Michael M.B. Church Live on Sundays. This message that the pastor tried to get across failed. It’s a time and place for certain things, and live television wasn’t it for this one. A lot of things you have chosen to do on Sunday live TV wasn’t the time to do it. At know point do I feel the feelings the pastor was referring to was mutual. In his message he trying to get across he “tried” to use examples of his feelings of avoiding, tried to make it seem like they both were avoiding one another. When in fact a lie. When a person call themselves confessing there is some signs of forgiveness, remorse, repentance…. NOT!! But again live shows a lot when a camera is in your face. As for that extended prayer from Ministor Caston it should’ve been you. So YES you do owe 5+ minutes of repentance. But again of all things why on social media? There’s been other Sundays I’ve seen, my family has seen, and whomever watches that service think it’s like a game. The spirit of the lord wasn’t or doesn’t use confession of confusion to make an example of peace, or an example of leadership. Your example of why YOU PASTOR choose to walk around as the leader with ill feelings for so long & probably feeling this way about many others in your audience, but continue to do what you do keep walk on by. Peace first start with the leader(s) being at peace with the lord & themselves. The message was a inappropriate discussion for live. I’ll stopping. Will pray for the pastor but it starts with him first because that’s the leader chosen to lead and guide that flock. 😢 👏🏾
God bless you and I truly appreciate you watching and thank you for your feedback and I hope you will continue to watch! I don't hide from anything and where you feel that I failed; I sincerely was trying to show that even me -- can move beyond disagreements and move forward! I will continue to be led by the Holy Spirit and not moved by the camera in my face, but the fact of the matter is that there was tension, and all saw it and ALL saw that I as the Pastor was willing to move beyond and forgive! Again, I receive your feedback and sincerely thank you! If you would like to talk you can reach me at 630.441.3890. Pastor Paul Sims
The commets on the IUIC Chicago page is attacking the Church and nobody stating a solution. IUIC said that 1st step is heal the minds with the Bible. IUIC did NOT explain the very first step of how to approach the crack addict to heal their mind. If IUIC had explained to the Pastor all that we are going to do is read and teach the Bible to the crack addict. That is it, nothing else. But this was not communicated in the meeting. A partnership with IUIC and Church could've been, IUIC will handled all the healing of the mind from the Bible, the Church could of offer a building for the IUIC and Crack addict to meet in the winter months. The church could supply all information to crack addict about all the state government programs etc etc like how to get job. The Pastor made the error in the meeting by showing his ego and pride mentioning the heat he is getting from the angry church members. The priority should've been the messsage from God to heal Chicago, not worried about angry church member. IUIC doesn't not care if a church member is angry, they live by Bible only, not man.
