Rocky Mountain NP-Lake Helene
Join me on this overnight backpacking trip to Lake Helene in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
Only 2.5 miles from Bear Lake, hiking through forest and boulder fields, you'll ascend about a thousand feet before reaching Lake Helene, right at the foot of the 12,000 foot Notchtop Mountain.
Breathtaking views await of Odessa Lake and the surrounding peaks, and be sure to watch for Moose and other wildlife in this area.

Join me as I explore Lost Lake, at almost 10,000 feet in the Rawah Wilderness, Roosevelt National Forest, Colorado. Beautiful and rugged, this area is pure, pristine Nature. Six mile hike from the trailhead with some fairly steep climbs and great vistas of the Laramie River valley on the way up.

This is awesome. I like to fly fish these alpine lakes and I’m going to have to see if there are any fish in this lake because it looks gorgeous.
