I can never tell if a guitar sounds good without playing a song I know. If it nails the tone...great .... if not....then I know. IMO

What pots and Caps Did you use? I have been hearing really good things about VIP who sells a centralab style pot?

The fact that Ed king used and endorsed WIZZ was Enough to convince me!🤘 For those that don't know Ed king owned a 1959 burst and other PAF equipped guitars.

The Wizzers of course sound like miracle boxes, but man this guy can play!

What brand of pot and switch are you using…👍

I did the same 50’s wiring with Bourns 500k pots and orange drops, but I have a static buzz via my amp now when not touching / earthing the strings! Was thinking it could maybe be the long ground to the Jack socket / toggle switch needs grounding at the pits to make it shorter, or maybe the bridge earth isn’t connected? Would EMF screening paint be needed in the cavities?! Any suggestions?

Doesn’t the SG sound thinner than a Les Paul. I know the maple cap makes a difference, but I thought the thicker body did too. A Les Paul certainly sounds fatter than a 335, from my experience.

Lot of reverb on the amp. It would be great to hear the pickups back to back. That what they have context.

WIZZ are very impressive P.A.F replica pu's. i Like them and a maker named SHED makes a set called "PAF daddies" that are phenomenal sounding! Hard to go wrong with either TBH!

Great video, I get the feeling this cat has done this job more than once. I did it once, used the vintage taper pots, and a vintage wiring scheme. I'm super happy with the sound.
