some songs just dont sound right when they clean up the so called dirty version.rap was made so people could tell their story or let the world know what was really going on in the streets in their own words or way they wanted to say it without being censored

This was NOT recorded or "mixed" by J. Richards. I recorded this. Give credit where credit is due! He may have been the one who printed and sold it, but I recorded it. No DCMA stuff, just you need to know. It was NOT recorded in Canada. I recorded it in NYC. It was bootlegged and I found a copy in a DC record store years later. I recorded it and never knew another print was ever made, let alone thousands and it was sold. Still, happy to see it enjoyed. But, like I said, give credit where it is due. And as a "bootlegged" copy, it is what it is. Apparently J. Richards decided to put his name on it when sold in Canada or elsewhere. Side Note. Side B did not exist in original and I have no claim to that.

My favourite mix from back in the day. Never did find out who put it together.

OMG!!!!! This is MINE!!! It was bootlegged way back when! I recorded it in NYC while visiting a friend. The story behind it is Amazing! I found out about it's existence when another dj friend of mine found it in a record store n DC Years after I made it. I never knew about it until then. I can't believe some friends of mine found it as an off story I was telling them.

Olimax & DJ Shapps cracking mix of “Saturday Love” is a class tune. Why it never got a full release is anyone’s guess. They also did a brilliant remix of “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life” in the style of Phillip Glass! That one DID get a full release and is available on Discogs for next to nothing….which means all you self respecting House DJ’s should grab one immediately!
