Sports-related concussions are one of the most common injuries in contact sport and are unique because physical activity can increase the body and brain temperature up to 40˚C or more. KBB TV Ep 36 Entrepreneur in the Spotlight: Jaimie Fuller
Did I understand correctly that when the hand moves straight back but the palm is angled either outwards or inwards, the force is measured as being lateral?
This is very interesting thank you. I just did one swim set with the eo and it was incredibly eye-opening. I am a decent but not great masters swimmer, AT pace being 130ish SCY, and found out I exert almost as much downward force as propulsive and have a huge deadspot in the middle of my pull. It would be interesting to see a database showing data from good to elite swimmers to compare (and see what is consistent among top swimmers and what changes based on style, body type, gender etc).
What would be the propulsive force % of an elite swimmer?
Hi @Muhammadali19476 the propulsive force % of an elite swimmer will differ depending on their biomechanics. We recommend aiming for between 70-75% for distance swimmers and 55-60% for sprinters. Feel free to email our customer service team if you have any further questions: support@eolab.com
Hi guys, in the Force field visual, why is blue on the left if it is indicating the right arm. Some of my swims show the colours as shown here while other swims have blue on the right side and orange on the left. Can you explain this please? Does it matter?
Hi Peter, this is likely indicating that the force from your right hand is pushing water to the left. The direction of the line indicates the direction of your force during each swim. If you'd like further clarity on this, don't hesitate to get in touch with our customer support at: support@eolab.com
@@eosportslab Are the devices right/left dependent. IE, do you need to have the right one on the right hand?
Hi @@karenreeder4649 Yes they are. They have a L and R printed on the back of each handset so you get them on the correct hands.
That s pretty cool. no more screenshotting !
