In my opinion as a one of user from kind of Hot spinning machines,Leifeld hot spinning machines (Necking-In) has best operation and acceptable ability for producing high pressure cylinders such as CNG and Industrial gas vessels.Also this machines has professional ability for producing any work piece in military and automotive industries that need doing hot forming process.I have been working as a technical expert about setup and operation in Leifeld hot spinning machines since twenty years ago.

The Leifeld's I use at work are old. They won't hold programs anymore so every time a new job is set up, it has to be respun. They're also incredibly difficult to clean and keep looking nice.

When you design a metal spinning machine, I think more thought needs to go into scrap management. Whether it be chips or ribbons, you can get both depending on your trimming, there needs to be an effective design that allows for easy scrap removal. Guarding around the main spindle would be nice too. I'm interested in your thoughts
